There is one located in the bottom of the Starter Sets. The one for the SW doesn't have pictures or listings of the figures though.

I don't see anything in the Transformers Attacktix rule booklet that explains what the red or white numbers mean in the Speed (Number of Moves) window. I have one Transformer Attacktix so far - the Megatron figure - and his number changes from red to white with each click. I don't remember this in any of the Star Wars Attacktix. Since the number itself doesn't change (it stays at 4), I'm stumped as to what the color indicates.
Thanks for your answers! Can't wait for the Marvel Attacktix!

The red and white in the window, is a way to decide who goes first.

One rule nothing has been mentioned about is about backups, is there a limit on how many backups you can have? ??

I've always found yodabreaker's unofficial rules to be helpful: attacktix.proboards22.com/index.cgi?board=tourneys&action=display&thread=1120149501It covers a lot of topics I hadn't thought about prior to looking through it. And it serves as a good mediator in case of a dispute. Even if you don't agree with the exact details, it covers so many situations that you can easily adapt it to your particular house rules. As for backups, half the point value of the game seems pretty standard. This is one of the old stickies in the board FAQ. And the FAQ has a lot of other info that is helpful. I really need to get some of this printed so I can take it along with my Attacktix.

Another reason for the color changing speed number (red/white) is to verify that your tix is moving correctly and that a 'tix has taken place. In other words if your figure moves but the number doesn't switch you know that your tix wheel is broken. Plus it's just another way to count tix. You can count using the actual clicking/ticking noise and/or watch the numbers/colors change. In typing this I also realize that this would be a necessary feature if a deaf or hearing impaired person wanted to play 'tix.
