eddybrock, Scorponok is what we call strikers you lift up his arm and let go to hit your enemies. And chrome bases are the same as black just they are better for trading because there are harder to get.

Well, you could lift his arm up and let it go.. But due to the fact that his attack isnt spring loaded, you arent going to knock over anyone that way.
Scoronock's attack is meant to be completely manual. You move the scoup forward to lift/grab/toss another figure. The quicker you move it the better your resaults will be.

scorponok is a rather interesting striker. he's not spring loaded like all the others. you have to use your own force to power his claw attack.

This is kind of a different Scorponok question. With the megas, one attack was used when utilizing multiple shots (or in the case of the gunship, a move & shot). By this rationale, it seemed to be the consensus that the Destroyer Droids only count as one attack when using both of their shots (at least when I got mine it seemed to be the consensus...Is that still the case?). If Destroyers get to use both shots, does Scorponok get to use each arm? Both arms on mine are floppy and useful in making an attack. I realize this would not necessarily come up all the time because once he has attacked once, the other arm will most likely be out of reach. But I need to know for when it does come up. As a side note, my house rules allow all strikers to make 2 attacks that DO count as both attacks in 1 turn. It just seemed silly when it got to the end of the game and your final guy could reach more than 1 opponent, but just wasn't allowed.

That is definitely more of a gray area, since his arm doesn't contain a spring, but I think it's pretty clear from the Transformers booklet that Scorponok is intended to strike with his right arm only.

I almost wish that Scorp's attack was spring loaded. I found out last night that if the right arm is manually operated, he can hook anyone (even megas) in the cajones, lift them and hurl them over his shoulder-pretty devastating for a 30 pointer...he can ignore the knees and hoist Omega and the ATST easily.
we have institutes a 'thump' powered rule for either arm, it seems to mimic the strength/speed of a typical spring loaded attack.
I never received instructions for TF attacktix, so I dont know if HASBRO addressed this figure specifically.
