I think it makes sense that ransack and crumplezone are both lame figures because they are both the weakest characters in the show. I think they were designed badly on purpose to reflect that. Ha! That does make sense. It just sucks that the crumplezone is a 30 point figure...too costly IMO. Thanks though for straightening out their lame-ness.

Was able to get four TF boosters and a starter set yesterday. Here's what I got and my thoughts on each:
Booster Figures: Minicon: Cute little team builder Battle Ravage: Wish I would have gotten two of him. Very good strike if you use the arm instead of the mace ball itself. Rodimus x2: Actually, I wasn't to bummed to get two of this guy. He has a 46% chance of bringing in a trooper. If I had a Destroyer Droid he'd go on every team but for now he's just a fun figure. Excelion (Chrome): Decent power, a bit pricey, but he has a button on the side of his gun which could lead to Palpating style takedowns. Ransack: I have to disagree that he sucks completely. If you use him as a standard prodder he is horrible but I'm currently using a house rule where if you can catch a figure's arm, leg, head, etc., you can attempt to "throw" them like the Quick Start guide says. Not to horrible if you do that. Super Optimus Prime: Have the Gold version, as you'll see, so I know his power. To bad I didn't get vehicle mode, though. Megatron: And Prime's archnemesis as well. Again, wish I'd pulled a vehicle mode but these figures aren't bad.
Starter Figures: Dirtboss: LAME! I don't know if Phoenix/Sapph just pulled a strong springed figure or if I pulled a weak springed because mine can't take out a small figure from more than 5 tix away. Incredibly dissapointed. Overhaul: Not bad but I'd rather not Sacrifice an Autobot when I can us Excelion to get the same missile and a better power. Skyblast (Jet Form): Impressive! Strong missile but I'm confused with why you're able to point straight into the air. Oh, and in my first play I somehow got one of the few black spots on his power dial. Stupid thing. Skyblast: Amazingly powerful for a poker. Need to use him more for testing.
Intergalactic Battlepack: Megatron: Not bad as I love the slanted missile. Could use more Decepticons for the power but he's decent. Super Optimus Prime: The cream of the crop. It's absolutely awesome how after your opponent is FINALLY able to knock him over, he might just pop up white and start blasting again. Omega Sentinel: Fun to use but it's a Mega so he won't see a ton of play.

what a bummer on your Dirtboss! I will have to add an addendum to my review. I've tried someone else's before too and it worked great. Keep in mind though he is very difficult to bring down but I'm just getting defensive now. Thanks for your thoughts! Hope you have some good battles with your new haul.

I went shopping for star wars, but all they had was one Transformers set, so I bought it. Then I bought 3 more a few days later. I don't even like Transformers, I had to have one of my friends explain to me why these cars are robot, I've never watched the show, but I can't get enough of the figures. It is the same kind of fun when I first stated playing Star Wars Attacktix. It's like starting fresh, but better because I can mix my sets.
I've got a 20 point Rodimus (who I'm guessing is a sports car) pulls a Destroyer Droid from my back-ups.
I can't wait to get my hands on a starter.

One thing I realized over a few games using Transformers that I figured I'd post.
First, Skyblast Vehicle Mode is actually quite difficult to take down. To increase his defense even more, point his nose straight down in order to lower the figure's center of gravity.
Second, Rodimus is the first figure I've found that has a major upgrade in speed on his dial. Unlike all the other figures I have, both my Rodimus figures have no lower speed on the dial and in fact have at least one 8 out of the 26. So now Rodimus is one of my favorite figures with a strong chance of recruiting, decent defense, and the chance of addin two tix per turn.

I finaly got ahold of some transformer boosters, YAY!
I LOVE these things.
On a whole it really seems to me that at the moment, transformers are at a disadvantage to star wars in the attacktix world. Just because transformers dont have that many strikers, and the ones they do have arent all that great. But I am very impressed with how all of the figures look. They look just like their transforming counterparts!
As far as individual figures go...
My favorite has to be battle ravage. I love the swinging mace.. Sure, its not the greatest striker attack, but man is it cool.
Scourge would get my vote for coolest looking attackix figure ever. Is it just me, or does he look like he should be playing bass for gwar? My only complaint is that his axe should have been longer.
Scorponok also looks amazing, and I think his attack is one of the best new attack ideas hasbro has come out with (throwing rock lame!).
Really, I think all of them are awesome... The only really disappointing figure to me was crumplezone. Hes got to be the most worthless striker I have ever seen, he should be 10 points not 30 :\

Mine is very good. I always have him as part of my army. He comes up white for me alot as well.

I was addicted after buying the Intergalactic Battle Set. Transformers are first on my mind when it comes to buying Attacktix lately. I think when you said "fresh start" that explained exactly how I feel.

I agree! Scourge is just about the coolest looking figure ever. I also agree that the throwing rock attack is the equivilent of throwing a waded up piece of tissue and expecting results.

I raided target for some booster packs today... guess what I got! chrome megatron! (robot mode) My optimus prime doesn't shoot very far... I don't know if mine is weak springed or if the missile is just so heavy. rodimus is good, but he should have been a large missile. battle ravage and his mace are awesome. I want to get scorponok and a bunch of duplicate insecticons and battle ravages to build a terrorcon army of dooom! I really hope cruellock and divebomb, the other two terrorcons, come out in series two.
