I had my car-crazed brother look at the Bumblebee and Brawl pictures.
The "damaged" Bumblebee is a Chevrolet Camaro from somewhere between the years of 1974-1981. We personally think it's either a '80 or an '81 but we can't tell for sure.
The "repaired" Bumblebee is the new 2007 Camaro.
Brawl is a new Mustang. Unfortunately, I can't remember the exact year but it's from somewhere between 2003 and 2007.

That Prime is at least 12 kinds of awesome. Im having a hard time imagining these transforming though. Where did the big grill go? It doesn't look like any of the figures have large, recognizable parts of their vehicles modes intact in robot mode. It looks like the whole vehicle segments into thousands of pieces then forms back up into a robot mode. Which makes sense to me...I think it would have been cheesy if Optimus in the movie, like the back part just split in half and hey, those are his legs! Oh, the cab flips up and that's his chest. He only has five joints in his whole body! Nope...it sounds like they are going as "real world" as possible...making sure that the virtual robot mode accounts for every last gram of the vehicle mode. I like it. This is no different than the X-Men changing from bright yellow spandex in the comics to leather "armor" in the movies. Sure, Wolverine didn't look exactly like the comic version...but the root and essence of the character was maintained.
