I belive that sertin members of a few should all join together. I personally have no clue why but think it would be cool to have a group on the forum toether with a select few members. Anyone think its a good idea and want to take part?

Personally, I wouldn't be a fan of such things. The idea of having "a select few" seems like a way to fragment the board membership and create factions where none need exist. It's OK with me if some people tend to enjoy each others' posts and exchange PMs with them (or conversely, if some avoid reading the posts of certain others and won't respond to PMs of those others). However, setting up some sort of exclusive (and exclusionary) group seems to be unnecessarily divisive.

I am sorry if you didnt look at the word exclusive the same way as me. I would never want to say no or not take part of anything with a sertin someone. I just got the idea that on GameSpot- there forum has this guilds on it in which in everyones profile or in somecases signature it shows the name of the "club" there in. I think this would kinda urge people to post more and maybe make some people feel more comferteble if they hadnt already.

I think it's a great idea and can be completed through political debate in the Jedi and Rebels thread! But in all seriousness, I prefer to just keep things open so everyone can participate.....unless you maybe just wanted to get a "crew" to all post the same logo in their member profile, that might be cool. You are all welcome to join the Star Wars PEZ Posse.

If there are various crews, clans, or factions on the board, it would seem to me that ...
(1) ... Joe should have some say in this first. (2) ... there should be an explicit understanding that there's no competition or bashing between factions---this should be simply a fun way to express one's affiliation. (3) ... in keeping with the Star Wars Attacktix primary theme of this board, the factions should align with and be limited to the ten Attacktix armies (Empire, Rebels, Droids, Sith, Bounty Hunters, Tuskens, Jawas, Republic, Separatists, Jedi ... I think that's all of them). Otherwise, it's possible to end up with so many multi-splintered clans---"Left-handed dyspeptic Belgian cabinet-makers who collect Sith Attacktix with factory scratches on figures' right posteriors, unite!"---that it becomes pointless.
These are just my thoughts, but something like this could change the social dynamics of a great board. As such, it should be entered into carefully with some specific ground rules, if at all.

I agree with MasterTiMothee on all points, especially number three. However, given that I have three factions that I regularly like to play with (Rebels, Jedi, Droid Army) I wouldn't know which one to choose anyway. I would have to stick with the all too common college major: Undecided.

I am aware of clans and having matching sigs, etc, but I think for now it is not a good thing. Unless everyone is allowed into any clan they want, then fighting and bickering is going to happen.
I like to keep it very family friendly here.
Now if you are looking into starting an Attacktix Fraternity, ala, Old School... I have some cinderblocks and a goat in my basement... just PM me.

BigFluffyWookiee and I saw the PEZ logo on line and thought it would be a funny joke for a week. We were not intending to start any feuding or anything, just cause some people a few laughs. That said, I've been toying with the idea of playing Attacktix on line. Much like how chess is played by on-line by typing "Queen to Bishop a8". We would need an effective grid (which I'm having trouble finding the time to formulate) play-mat. And the entire game would need to be on the honor system. But regardless, it would be fun to try. I've been talking to Redemption Rocks about doing it for some time now, but I just haven't taken the time to develop a grid and get it printed. It could be neat. Each team would need their own squad and a copy of the squad their opponents use (to shoot at), then you inform your opponent; where you moved, who you attacked with, who is knocked over (or if figures got moved due to combat), which special abilities take place. I think it would be a fun way to play. I would have liked to gone to MegaCon to compete against you guys, but it just didn't seem reasonable. This way I can se how my 10 clone troopers stand up against 10 jedi knights. Oh, yeah...I had a point to make.......if we did have some silly guild or union, it might be a fun way to play against one another.

By the end of the weekend ( I know I said that last time but this time I mean it...more than the last time I meant it...{?}). Regardless, it will be soon.
