What are the best SW games of all time?
I like, in order: Jedi Power Battles (Dreamcast!!!) The best game ever! Shadows of the Empire (N64) Empire At War (PC) Battlefront II (PC/XBOX) Jedi Knight II (PC/XBOX) Rogue Squadron (N64) Rebel Assault (PC) KOTOR (PC) KOTOR2 (PC/XBOX)
Games I thought SUCKED: Republic Commando (PC) Every OTHER Rebel Assault but #1 (PC)
Any other games you know about? I am REALLY interested in the PS2 Star Wars - Bounty Hunter game. Anyone know if this sucked or not?

It's been a long time, but I remember Masters of Teras Kasi being a pretty good fighting game for PS1. I haven't played as many SW games as most of you guys, but for me, nothing quite beats the fun of the Lego games!

My wife LOVES the Lego Trilogy, but I hate them. No blood or foul language ;D
I am currently playing "Bounty Hunter" and I love it. It's a little hard after you get the Jetpack, but other than that it's pretty nice. I am still getting used to the PS2 sticks, so that's really hurting me, but I am planning to get a diagram and see if I can mod an Xbox stick to work on a PS2. If that works, I will be a fan.
Now for the game itself: The game essentially starts with Jango (your character) fighting in an arena. You have to escape. That is basically the 'how to play' section. Then you move onto the platforming, jetpacking, flamethrowing goodness. Very nice graphics. I rate it an 8 of 10 star kinda game.
I forgot a lot of games in my list, such as XWing, Tie Fighter, Xwing VS Tie Fighter, Dark Forces (PC), Jedi Knight, Jedi Academy, GALAXIES (this is the one I never played), all the NES games named for the original trilogy, Obi Wan (Xbox), Jedi Starfighter Xbox (Special Edition and regular...Regular was not worthy of being a coaster, and the SE was OK), the SNES trilogy games which were VERY good, and lemme see........I think that's all I've played. I've never played E1-E3 on any system as I don't like the "Lord of the Rings" games and the E1/2/3 games are pretty much the same engine, so NO THANKS. Same reason I hated Obi-Wan.
Any others?

Bounty Hunter!
Also, the game for Episode 1 (PS1), and III (PS2, Xbox) are actually really great games. I like them a lot. But Episode II is for GBA, DO NOT BUY THAT. IT IS SOOO HARD, BORING. IT ALSO USES... THE PASSWORD SYSTEM....

Diving into all the Star Wars games I've played (and I mean ALL of them), from worst to best...
A New Hope (Game Boy, I hated this game, couldn't make it past the darned Cantina!) Rebel Assault II (PC, ACK!!) Arcade (Fun but eats the quarters) Obi-Wan (Xbox, I loved the joystick saber swinging but the game itself was boring, wish they'd implement the mechanic in another game) Jedi Starfighter (Xbox, Not horrible, especially playing Co-Op) Podracer (N64, Fun but a bit flat) Republic Commando (Xbox, really gives the flavor of being a commando but was short and unfun multi-player) Battlefront (Xbox, the original that's overshadowed by the second but Jedi Hunting is TOO fun!) Episode III (Xbox, loved the dueling but hated everything else) Jedi Academy (Xbox, I love any game that you choose light/dark in but it could have used guns more) Rogue Squadron (N64, I love flying in all the classic ships) Jedi Knight (Xbox, the original and a very good game) KOTOR II (Xbox, only slight inferior to the original, Darth Nihilus PWNS every Sith ever in the history of everness) Lego Star Wars I & II (Xbox, both of these rock but the second one rocks more, can't wait for the Complete Trilogy on the Wii) KOTOR (Xbox, I'm hating myself for this but this has to go in second compared to my favorite game, I still beat this many time and think this is one of the best games of all time) Battlefront II (Xbox, I played this game FAR too much and wish I still had my Xbox so I could play it just one more time)

Rebel Assault II (PC, ACK!!) I forgot about how bad that game sucked! I didn't have it for the PC, but I had the PS1 version. I NEVER made it past the Millennium Falcon flight stage! I borrowed a friend to get me through that level, then after that I got stuck on the Speeder Bike stage! AH!

LOL the funny thing is that I still have almost ALL of these games. I'm looking at the disc for Rebel Assault II right now laughing as I don't have a 486-16 to play it on!

I know! I hated that darned Falcon stage. I ended up having to get a joystick since keyboard + mouse wasn't cutting it. Heck, even then I had to adjust the sensitivity so when you told it to go down it actually went down at a decent speed and didn't just fling you into the ground at Mach 4. The ONLY thing that game is good for is the dancing stormtrooper easter egg. Other than that, absolute garbage.

Well, I pretty much like any game that's about star wars but here are my tops:
#5 Jedi power battles (PS1): I loved playing this one with my best friend back in the day. I especially liked the variety of characters (Plo koon all the way!). #4 Star Wars rogue squadron (PC): Because even if using the Force is fun, blasting a Tie Fighter into oblivion is just as fun. #3 Kotor (PC): I liked the second game better because it was more polished and had more features (and movie-accurate robes!). But this one probably has the better story (especially the dark side version!) #2 Battlefront 2 (PC): (I haven't really played the first one) I love this game. It's almost as good as reenacting Star Wars battles in your backyard ;D. I just wished it had deeper lightsaber combat with blocks and counters and saber locks and such (EP III style). #1 Kotor 2 (PC): I'm still playing it (even if I 've finished it millions of times) and I still love it.
Honorable Mentions: Star Wars EP III (I liked the duels but the rest was meh), Galactic Battlegrounds (Because attacking gungans with an army of sith will never get old), Masters of Teras Kasi (Unlocking Darth Vader was the bomb), Both lego games (Even if they were awesome, they were this close to making the list)

Nick - can you play KOTOR PC via multiplayer? I've never even looked. I have "SW:Best of PC" and it has a lot of cool games on it, but I'm not entirely sure about multiplayer.

I'm gonna have to say Dark Forces (PC) is my all-time favorite SW video game. An oldie but goodie. Battlefront 2 is an awesome game, and from a technical view, probably the best to play. But by the time that game came out, we were all so jaded. It just didn't have the wow-factor that Dark Forces gave me. Funny because most of these games coming out now would have been simply outlandish 10-15 years ago, but now it's like we see great games everyday and yawn at them.

That's funny Defender, a buddy of mine did that with me for a bunch of stuff in Jedi Knight II Oucast. He had trouble with bosses so he'd have me come over a defeat them. There is nothing like the final boss, also known as Barney becomes a Sith Acolyte. Lego is a fav right now because my son likes to play with me

I've played rogue squadron and podracer, both for the N64. I enjoyed both games, though the podracer game is easy once you learn how fully upgrade your pod. Ive gotten first in all of the races, including the Abyss. Rogue squadron on the other hand is a bit harder; I usually plug in a bunch of cheat codes before I play. I haven't played either of them at all for a few months though.
