Hi, I got Endor Luke in one of my first Booster packs, and he has no spring. I was wondering if this is how all the Endor Lukes are made, or if I just got a faulty one?

No spring? That's weird... I don't have S4 Luke, but I doubt that they all come without a spring. It's probably just another fault from Hasbro...

It's a dud call up hasbro and tell them they'll ship you something better back.

Are you sure that there is no spring, or does it just not swing? If there is a chance it is the latter carefully put some wd-40 or similar oil in the waist joint and move it back and forth gently about 15 times. Set it on a paper towel and let it sit for a while and try again. S4 Luke does tend to get stuck, but a little grease may fix him.

No, he moves fine. He's just not spring-loaded. I have to physically twist him. He moves pretty smoothly. There's no resistance whatsoever, like moving one of the arms.

That's strange... like JW18 said, call up Hasbro and see if they'll be kind enough to give you a replacement. My dad actually has an S4 Vader that's missing a spring... that would be my fault. I've now broken two Vaders that didn't even belong to me. My brother's and my father's. They were very forgiving, though I don't think I'm going to be borrowing any more Vaders...

I tried calling Hasbro, but the only number I could find was for the store, and they said they couldn't help me since I didn't buy it through the catalog. However, since I got him in a blind package the lady was kind enough to give me the number to what I believe might be corporate offices, except that by the time I got the number nobody was there and I have to wait until Monday to call again.
Now I've got a Ghost Rider with the same problem, except I'm sure it's got a spring. What if you don't have WD40?

I usually take a Dremel with a thin cutting disc or a nail-file and work the two edges where the torso and waist meet until they move freely.

The thing is with both that they move semi-freely, but they don't spring and if I listen closely to their waists, I can hear a faint metallic scrape.
I'm not too worried about Ghost Rider, since in addition his striking arm is too loose to stay in one place very long so in friendly battles my opponant and I can use him as a tosser like Scorponok. But Luke is still a problem.

In fact most strikers I got in boosters didn't work and someone needs to do something about it.

It is rare that someone would get all faulty figures. Is it possible that you just need to work them in or turn the base more when you attack. I did not like strikers for the longest time and it was just because I was not using them correctly.
