In this photo, if you look at General Grievous, he has a green small missle.

Bummer, I know. My guess would the the translucent plastic used in the missles and sabres used in the promotional pictures are more brittle than the thick plastic ones we have. If that is the case, I welcome what we were given over what is shown, even if aesthetically they don't look as nice.

I second that guess. From my experience, that sort of translucent plastic is too brittle to allow the kinds of roughhousing that Attacktix requires.

My thoughts exactly! I am very disappointed that they don't look nearly as cool as the clear translucent colored missles and sabres, but figured that it was probably for safety reasons.
I agree that they probably would have been more brittle, and easily broken and kids could have some problems with the broken pieces.
The translucent colors would have definately been cooler and much more laser like!
Wow! This would be a much different game if Grievous had a small projectile instead of the Jedi crusher he has now!

The force pushers have clear projectiles, and the shape of them is far more likely to break than a regular missile. I reckon clear plastic is more expensive. hasbro screws us again.

maybe the clear progectiles are more apt to break Other things.. like picture frames and collectable dishes... the force blasts dont go very far and hence woulndt get far enuff to break something off camera.. they could also chip, become jagged and hurt the kiddies.. the softer plastic is prolly just much more PC and safer for hasbro to use..
BTW i tried to make a clear (red) progectile for a custom figure im building.. i took the missile out of the OTC falcon and shaved it down on a make shift dremel lathe, to fit and fire.. it worked great... till i tried to make the notch a tad bigger so it would catch better.. then it snappt.. oh well.. have to try again.. gotta seek out more clear progectiles.

Good possibilities. Another one that's sprung to mind is that the translucent projectiles might actually be harder to find. It seems like a lot of us already have problems finding stray shots; imagine if those shots had the chance of blending into the surroundings more by having some of the background bleed through the shot!

They are hard enough to find already. I've lost the missiles so many times. I'm glad thy aren't smaller or I would have a billion down the air duct of my house.

I have already lost a missle that belonged to a clone, hi's been with out it for a month now. *sob* oh well it was my brothers, but ya I agree they would be harder to find.
