I have seen lots of favorite shooter, force push, stiker type posts. I am curious though... Who is your favorite 20 trooper (based on stability, special powers, frequency of special powers, or just looks.)

to answer myself...
I really like the nemodian Guard. At first I thought why do I keep getting these figures (I got 3 in my first 5 boosters). Then I figured out that with Nute they make an awesome trooper. They are squat and have a low center of gravity and the blaster can be used to give them even more stability. Also two of them to together makea great little wall that affords the model behind them protection and the ability to shoot between them.

My favorite 20 point trooper is the Wookie Scout because not only is he an awesome shooter for me but his 'special power' when activated is the Attackback - so one of my warriors in play get a free move/attack. I usually have 2-3 of these guys on my team (thanks again YB for the wedding gift).

It is a tough choice but I will have to go with my nemodian guards. My pieces seem very powerful and are more stable than my wookie scouts.

I generally try and stay away from 20 point troopers, as they're always stuck with that small projectile. I really like strikers, so I want the most bang for my buck when it comes to launchers. But as 20 pointers go, I personally prefer the Super Battle Droid (surprise surprise), for reasons I've already written. The thing I don't like about the NG is that he's tied to Nute Gunray. But there are many better 30 point launchers than Nute. And since Nute's special power is a free shot for two NG's, you need to have at least two of them with him to make it worth it. That's 70 points spent on small projectile launchers whose special power is only a shootback rather than an attackback.

You're quite welcome; I'm glad I could get you started on some good Wookiee Scouting I also think I have to agree with you on this one, as this question has limited itself to 20 point *troopers.* Because I tend to load up on warriors (striker Jedi, in particular), having a Warrior be able to Attackback is particularly valuable to me. However, the V-Wing Pilot's special power is activated more frequently, and it allows an Attackback for another trooper (of which I tend to have a few, because of my love for Striker Kenobi and the Vaders, who need troopers for their powers to activate), making him a close second for me. Of course, for 20-pointers in general, it'd be a tie between Chewbacca (big striking surface, 50% probability Attackback x2 for other Wookiees) and Ki-Adi-Mundi (strong lightsaber attack, 38% Rally for Jedi *or* Specialist). Ki-Adi-Mundi generally gets more play because I like my Jedi teams, but Chewbacca's a great boon to a Wookiee team.

My favorite is the Wookiee Scout. He is a great shooter and, if you have his gun down, he is pretty hard to knock down.

I would agree most with Yaggleberryfinn and YodaBreaker in that I am not big on the 20 point troopers.
All the points raised are valid and it really depends what you are looking for and how the rest of your team is built.
Since my favorite team is built around Vader, my 20 point trooper would either be the V-wing or Super Battle Droid depending on if I had Grievous teamed up or Palpy as my big gun. Neither one would get used for anything more than a shield and a tool for Vader and or Grievous special.
My son currently LOVES the wookie scouts because they are GREAT Shooters.
The NG have a nice special to go with the Nute Gunray if you have the tight springed high powered Gunray that I have seen and read about here in these forums.
I am looking foward to 20 point troopers in Series two, because some of the themed teams are going to get a nice boost, and my favorite 20 point trooper is bound to be there and not in series 1.

I'm a big fan of the Super Battle Droids. They're tough. All mine have very powerful shots. The special comes up a decent amount of times. And most of all, I just love how they kinda lumber and wiggle when hit with a projectile (and stay on their feet, err, metal shoes). Dooku with a quad of them as bodyguards and I'm happy as a clam and ready to take names on the battlefield!

Wookie Scout. Mine isnt very sturdy, but somehow manages never to get hit... he also has incredible firepower and commonly shoots down my Mace Windu. Of my six figures, he's probably done the best in all the duels ive played since i bought my two boosters last night, and hes probably racked up more kills than Mace. Also his special power is useful, Mace being a warrior...

Err...that's not a trooper. It's a Captain. If it were a trooper...well, I'd still probably want 10-point Bodyguards instead of 20-point Sergeants.
