Does anyone have a good method for making a custom special or special label on the bottom of the base? All the ones I've tried look UGLY when finished.

TixTool will include just the thing you are looking for. After the new TF2 and SW5 boosters hit the streets, and we get a chance to enter all of the figures stats into the database, Cona Chris and I are going to unleash the latest and greatest version of the attacktix database. Lots of great new stuff has been added, and I thought I would go ahead and share just one of the new features. Submitted for your approval, the database custom label maker: Front LabelEverything was made with ease of use in mind. Label size, text, and font size are easily changed at the click of a button. Importing custom faction logos has never been easier, choose any image you please, and it is instantly scaled to the proper size, and placed perfectly on the label. Rear LabelThe rear label is just as easy to use. Text and font size are easy to manipulate. And you can specify a double bubble for a series number, or just keep it simple with the single. Effects LabelSame ease of use in mind. Fully customizable text and font for any effect you may have in mind for your new custom figure. Special Power LabelWell, we couldnt stop at just front, rear and effects. We just had to give you a complete utility to aid in a complete custom job. Select a special power label for a large, medium or small base. When printed and cut out, they will fit on the bottom of your figure perfectly.

how do you access that label maker, Malform? Its just one part of the amazing TixTool (formerly "the attacktix database")... Cona Chris and I have been developing the program for the past 5 months or so. The last version that I made available to the masses is extremely out of date compared to what Chris and I have been kicking back and forth. And Im sorry to say that it is not quit ready for release yet. Currently MS Access is required to run it... But there are plans in motion for making it a standalone that anyone will be able to run with no special requirements.

I had high hopes for it when I found it, but when you import an access database, all you really get are the tables.... So all of the queries, and the forms and macros would have to be re-built.... I would rather pay someone to export it to its very own executable program than build the same database program twice. Im heavily leaning toward paying someone to export its to vbasic. Ill just wait till things are to a more complete state before I go out looking for quotes.... But hey, if theres someone on this very board that is knowledgeable in such things, feel free to lend a hand.

TixTool looks to be just what the doctor ordered. I can hardly wait. In the meantime, is there anything available that can be used just for making a few quickie Specials Labels?

TixTool looks to be just what the doctor ordered. I can hardly wait. In the meantime, is there anything available that can be used just for making a few quickie Specials Labels? TixTool is MUCH more than just a label maker. It includes detailed stats of every figure released to date. It allows you to keep track of figures that you have in your collection, and figures you have set aside for trades. It even has trade tracking so that you can store information on current pending trades, then automatically add the quantity of the ones received and subtract the ones sent. It has MASS (created by Joe himself) built in so one can easily compare figures apples to apples. And what I consider to be the most advanced feature, game data.... The game data allows you to enter information from games, then you can see what figures you use most effectively (and much more). Thats just a very quick rundown of TixTool, much more detailed explanations will be revealed when the new version is ready for release.... In the mean time, you can use the excel base label maker. Oh... That doesnt have a special power label in it...
