I just noticed in the little pamphlet that there is a "Doom Army" faction that is listed, but not used this series. Who do you want to see from the Doom Army? I'm betting Mandarin will show up, but if he does, Iron Man will be there in the series!

Yeah, anybody know of the future of this supposed faction? I remember hearing about a FF2 tie-in Starter but no word on it since December.

Yes, but in series one all of the other factions were represented. I'm wondering why the heck Dr. Doom (which I suspect will be one of the most popular figures ever) was missing. I sure think he would've been cool to have, especially if he was essentially a green-caped Vader impersonator, with 69% recover (trooper) and a Transylvanian (or whatever...latvia-ish) battle axe or sword.

I doubt that Doom would be a striker. His armor was jammed packed with all kinds of energy based weapons. He's basically an Iron Man without (usually) flight. I think the Doom we'll see will be either a launcher or a force-blaster. Possible Doom Army figures: Generic Doombots AnnihilusAwesome AndroidBlastaarKlawLokiPuppet MasterRed GhostSub-MarinerTaskmasterUltronVolcanaMolecule ManDiabloDragon ManHydro ManKangMole ManSuper-SkrullGeneric SkrullsTerraxThanosThundraTrapsterWizard... and yes, some of these characters are just FF Villains and not officially aligned with Doom or are better known as Avengers Villains but this is as good a team as any to put them on ('till we get a Masters of Evil team that is)

What about the Mandarin - he's aligned with Doom, and is an Iron Man nemesis. Hmmm..

I don't know if I'd class Sub-Mariner as a villian, he's played both hero and villian roles, if you'll recall. (hero with the Classic Invaders, both hero and villian with the FF, etc...)

True.
I'm surprised the Swordsman isn't listed as a possibility. With the Power Sword and all, he'd probably make a good striker...

Klaw would be cool with some kind of soundwaves-looking force blast. And Ultron with a big ol' missile and a nice wide base (hey, he's made outta Adamantium after all). I get chills thinking about it.
