Okay, how exactly does capture work? does it simply mean that green goblin is taken out of play and the attacking figure is removed with him (what I think) or does he gain control of that fig (this is what my son thinks happens) so I thought i'd come to the experts for the answer.
and also, depending on how capture works...if both goblin and the attacking figure are the last on each team, is this a tie?
looking forward to your theories.

The green Goblin's capture allows you to take over the attacking figure if you have a warrior in play, the the tie issue doesn't come into play (with the Heroes Starter GG at least, I don't have the origins one) . Other's figures sometime have different specifics (a lot of bounty hunters have a capture special too). As I understand it, so long as you meet the criteria (have a warrior in play), you get the attacking figure and goblin goes to the defeated area. So you take control of whoever took out the Goblin. If he was the last player on the other team than you'd win.

The figure that fell and brought the capture special to life is now dead, but that attacking figure is now the property of the player that lost the figure with the capture special. Specials are meant to be taken literally, and exactly how they are read. It is pretty common to try to read to much into them. A special that you may be thinking of would be "vengeance" which allows you to remove the attacking figure, in some instances..
