Okay, I think we've all agreed that starter wolvie and starer spidey are a bit outclassed by the starter goblin and sabretooth (how is a 20pt character so much better than his 30pt counterpart???)
Since my 5yr old always picks the good guys and my (rather competitive) 10yr old delights in taking the bad guys, I have devised a couple of house rules
Let me first say, that I'm not asking that these rules by added to the canonical set of rules, I just wanted some feedback on whether or not you felt they were fair.
#1: Let starter wolverine be powered by means other than the god-aweful spring...we've been letting the player 'tap' the left fist, making the right punch a little more substantial...I figure if 30pt scorponok can be TOTALLY human powered, it might be fair for wolverine.
#2: We allow web-shooting spidey to leave his projectile out until he's ready to shoot (if the player elects to), cuz our particular figure tips forward, due to the weight...thus making him ridiculously easy to knock down...
I'm really hoping some boosters (and possily picking up that origins set on clearance at wal-mart) will eliminiate the need for these rules...
just curious...anybody allow stuff like this for any of the sets?

Well, if it helps equalize the two kids' play, I don't see anything wrong with these rules for friendly games.
