Hey i havent got these yet but in the box that had the gunship in it there was a season 2 Packet and instaed of the emporer there it was r2 d2 and the medid driod heres what it said. Take a chance on everyone's favorite droid! When you begin any turn, you can press the button on R2-D2. The wheel will spin and stop on a number from 1 to 4. That's The number of attacks you are allowed this turn. Since your normaly allowed 2 attacks per turn, chances are 50-50 that you could end up with more!
Experiance the "healing" powers of this speicalized droid! Set pointer "1". At the start of each of your turns, twist pointer to next number. When the pointer reaches "1" again, you can bring any one of your defeated figures back into play!

Very cool...both effects are powerful, but at the cost of having a non-attacking figure...I'm really interested in what the point cost on these figures will be, and how good their defense is...

Yeah me to i like the medical droid the most though isntead of being random like R2-D2 it has 4 numbers and every 4 turns it survives you bring back a defetead unit! it will be intersting in a game. most likely the main target to. it will be cool watching the enemy concentrate on it while i can just take them out.

Hey Spartan,
Nice job with all the images and write-ups in your threads.
Any chance you can scan the R2-D2 instructions for the main site? I am posting your other rules now...
Thanks

Actually, because these droids both have actions that are said to take effect "at the beginning of any turn", I don't think their actions even count as attacks, which makes them even cooler! I am *so* keeping Medical Droids in the midst of a formation. If only they weren't so darn tall... And R2...50% chance of having the spinner grant *more* attacks...so friggin' sweet! Taken literally, it sounds like R2 has a 50% probability of coming up 3 or 4!

with r2-d2's power I think he will be the most used figure. If you can get 4 attacks you can easily take out a 100 pt squad in 1 turn.

I think Joe and I are going to have to have two R2-D2s so we each will have one when we play as they seem d**n useful. Def worth the chance.

On a 100 pt. team, it definitely seems like you can fit 4 solid attackers in to the 90 points you'd have left after starting with R2. The turns when you "roll" a 1 would hurt, but the chances are just as good you'd get a 4 instead.
The Medic coming in a 20 points might be harder to use in a 100 pt. team, and probably lends itself more to having one big fig...like a Vader backed with some troopers...if you lose Vader, his special might kick in, or the Medic could bring him back...mmmm, spicy!

Yes if you Decied to use R2 that turn you must spin it first. or you can just not use him and have 2 attacks.
