What is up with his hand? If you don't know what I'm talking about you can find his pic in the SDCC picture thread. It doesn't look like the goopy hand things big enough to be a striker, he doesn't seem to have a gun, and he lacks a 'effect wall.' He just makes me confused, anybody know what he's supposed to do? (Sorry for the duel questions)

I think hes a shooter. If you look at a closer picture such as: It looks to me like hes a very similar shooter to a decepticlone. I am assuming that the entire red flame thing shoots out. The big question for me when it comes to blackheart is, why in the heck does he look like a person? I havent read a ghost rider comic in about 12 years, so maybe im just "out of the loop"... Blackheart originated from a daredevil comic, but I have never read a single daredevil. And the blackheart I remember from ghost rider always looked like this: If someone knows why blackheart looks the way he does with this figure, please clue me in.

All the CGI money went into making Nick Cage's head burst into flames! MAYBE he will turn into that, shape-shift? Who knows, its better than the 3 seconds of Man-Thing we saw in the Sci-Fi movie with the same name.

there is a diffrent pic of him as being 40 points, for a shooter who just shoots the flameball that's a little nuts (even for a prototype version) I doubt he actually shoots that thing as there neither a red button or protrusion fron the back of his arm. He reminds me of the web punching spidey.

Well the size of his arm tells us a missile stem could fit in there. And buttons can be on the top or side, so I think it could go either way.

It's just a thought but most of the prototypes don't have their missiles loaded but he does, and it dosent look like a missile. It also doesn't look very effective if it was to be a missile.

I wonder if Blackheart looks like that because they wanted a movie version of him. That looks pretty close to the way he looks in the Ghost Rider movie. I would rather see him in the demon form though. I do remember that with Marvel Legends they made some of those figures based on the way they looked in movies like Blade and the Punisher. Maybe they decided to do the same with this. But I would prefer a non-human version.

It could be a prodder. I could see one of those being 40pts if it had a really good power

It's just a thought but most of the prototypes don't have their missiles loaded but he does, and it dosent look like a missile. It also doesn't look very effective if it was to be a missile. You are right, allot of them seem to not be loaded. But I dont think you can rule it out as a shooter due to the shape of the proposed projectile. They are really pulling out the stops when it comes to missile shapes. We got allot of variety in the new transformers, but they are going projectile crazy with marvel. Pumpkin bombs, flying truck bumpers, nuclear wast canisters, card inlaid force blasts, weird shield launching thing... And a couple others that Im not sure how to describe... The girth of his arm would make me think hes definitely spring loaded. And his arm in my opinion, is too short to be a striker. So with those 2 things in mind, I rule out the possibility of him being a striker. But, I have yet to find more of a rear view of the figure to see if he looks more like a shooter, or a prodder. Well, yeah... Given that there is a movie coming out with that character, sure he probably looks like the on screen adaptation of that character. My point is, in all the comics I have read he was always a demon, he was NEVER a human. He was always big dark and scary. Eureka! I found an answer that makes me happy. Even though I have never seen it in a comic for myself, according to the wikipedia: He has the ability to change the size and physical form of himself, which gives him an amazing shape-shifting ability. So, I hope they didnt spend all the special effects money on the flaming skull, and held back a little for some cool morphing sense.

I still say a 40pt prodder like Logray or Landmine is more likely than a 40pt small missile figure.

Landmine is 30 points not 40. It was stated earlier in the thread that Blackheart is a 40pt figure. When I said 40pts I was talking about Blackheart, not Landmine. I'm just suggesting he could be a prodder like Logray, Skyblast, Tusken Warlord, or Landmine. With a good activated power, I could see a 40pt figure be a prodder like those.

Ok, now (in the new Joeattacktix pics) he's forty points! He looks like his attack has as wide an strike surface as Crumplezone (if he is a striker that is). On a side note Western Ghost Rider looks totally awesome!
