Don't you think that the categories would be best suited if they were
Universe (SW, M, TF) Faction (Jedi, X-men, etc)
as opposed to Male, Female or robot? Doesn't seem to have any relevance?

Male, Robot....that's 100% retarded. Universe, then Faction, and MAYBE the powers like "Rally" or "Recruit" as that could help someone looking for a specific power to fill out their team. I could even see 10 pt. 20 pt. ... but again, this could get really, really out of hand.
NAh, just Universe and Faction.

Hmm... I would specify Universe and faction, and then have gender as well. In the case of robots, we can do as they do on Wookieepedia: "male programming", or "female programming".

Definitely Universe and Faction. Maybe special power and Attacktix class (why not if we're doing faction?) but other than that, I don't think there's any other need on categories. We also need a special power category (for the individual special powers) but, other than that, there isn't a major need on CATs.

I like that one, G. Attacktix Class should be a searchable category if Faction is as well.

I'm working on the faction categories right now, please add them to any new figure you put up or de-red. It will make this a whole lot easier.
ex: Rebel Faction
As for Gender, Robot, etc. I liked the idea of it (which is why I apparently angered you all by doing it). I tried to keep it Gender/Species so it wouldn't get out of control... fun part was I didn't notice this thread until I finished all the figures with pages... and now I'm going back to do Factions... fun day.

Another thought about Classes/Factions should we call the Factions (since the only Hasbro term is Class) or just not have a term. ie. Avengers as opposed to Avengers Faction... it works ok for SW and M, but Bots and Cons are more allegiances than factions (as far as fan terminology) also, this would make it easy to type Captain America is an [[Avenger]]... Then to have to add the faction in the hidden link code. Thoughts? ?

...well, I still like the idea of having a small page dedicated to the female characters of Attacktix. Sure, I don't think every figure needs to have their gender specified, but I think a small page for the little girls would be nice.

I would agree with Radar. There are an insane amount of male figures, so I like the idea of having a page girls can go to to find figures of their own gender.
I also would still like to specify which gender a character is. For instance, I'm not too good with TFs, so I would be happy if we could put, "male programming" or "female programming" so I kind of get an idea of the character.
I would also like to specify universe. And speed should be in there as well.

We are talking Smurf ratios, right? I think it can be added in the text of the descrip, but I would stick with just Female Cats for now, or else it really seems extraneous.

Yes, aside from Arcee in the original series there was only one episode that had a female Transformer named Eleta-1 (Unless you count the Paradron Medic that was essentially an Arcee repaint).
From latter series I can only think of in Trasformers is Blackarachnia and Botanica from Beast Wars/Machines, well at least that had any significant roles. So yeah Smurf ratio is a good way to put it.
