its less than two weeks until i'm gonna be a daddy again! my wife and i are having our third child on Sept. 7 by C-section. it is a precious lil girl and we are going to name her Makenna Jeanette. i cannot wait. my 3 yr old son is so excited its awesome. he keeps asking my wife how his little sister is doing today. its really cute. ok, i'll post more later. ;D ;D ;D

My 2 daughters being born were the 2 most emotional times of my life. Being a parent is just awesome.

well, tomorrow morning is the big moment. we have to be there early so i probably wont be on for a couple days. any good thoughts and/or prayers would be greatly appreciated as it is major surgery for my wife. thanks guys! see ya in a few.

YAY!!!! miss mak is here! she was born yesterday morning at 10:35AM. she was 7lb 4oz and was 19in long. i know i'm biased, but she has got to be the most cute baby EVER!

YAY!!!! miss mak is here! she was born yesterday morning at 10:35AM. she was 7lb 4oz and was 19in long. i know i'm biased, but she has got to be the most cute baby EVER! Huzza! And you were able to get back here in just a day to let us know; now *that's* devotion!

actually, i'm pretty surprised we're back home so soon, myself. i guess there is a set of criteria you have to pass before they will even think about letting a woman go home after a c-section. the surgery was at 10AM and by 10PM that same nite, my wife had passed most of them. by the next morning when the dr came in, she felt she was ready enuff to come home and gave the ok. we've done this before and know what she can and shouldn't do, so the dr felt fine sending mommy and baby home. SO, we're all home, resting, healing, and getting to know the newest member of our family.

It's great to know that she healed so quickly; I'm used to hearing about 5-7 day convalescence periods after a C-section. I'll bet you're ecstatic to have your family all together again...and to have the pleasure of finally seeing your daughter outside the womb!
