Folks: This is a thread devoted to proving that Star Wars is appreciated by all walks of life and is prevalant in the popular culture of America. Please put any references in music, literature, and TV that you know of:
Notorious BIG//Hypnotize// "Use the force like OBI" Busta Rhymes//Psychopath// "When I blow the whistle MF may the force be with you"
Any more?

I have been thinking about posting a topic like this because I have caught quite a few references in my "travels". I'm sure I'm forgetting a few, though.
Music: Weird Al - The Saga Begins Classic song that basically sums up the entire plot of Episode I to the tune of "American Pie". Weird Al - Yoda Older song that's just a goof on Yoda. Pretty good.
Television: Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends 1. "I have you now." (Said in a "Darth Vader-ish" voice) 2. "Run, Bloo, Run." (Said in an "Obi-Wan-ish" voice) 3. "We must defeat this Phantom Menace." (Duh!) 4. "Negative. It just impacted on the surface. It did not go in." (Reference to the Death Star trench run) 5. Lord Uniscorn (Character runs around dressed up like Darth Vader and does some of his classic lines)
Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy 1. "We'll have to use classic cartoon hijinks to win this game." "But where will we learn such a play?" "Not from a football coach." *Lightsaber activation noise*
Weird Al Music Video - White and Nerdy 1. Shows a clip making fun of the Star Wars Kid. 2. Nerd buys a package from a guy on the street that looks like it would contain drugs but turns out to be the Star Wars Holiday Special.

Man.... Theres TONS... What about that one episode of that 70s show where they have a whole star wars based scene... Not to mention that star wars is brought up in conversation numerous times in the series.
Also, clerks has allot. I love the conversation where they are talking about the contractors that were building the death star getting blown up by the rebels.
*added* Let us not forget spaceballs!
