No...that I just found this morning on Google after wondering who would be lame enough to name someone Commander Cody! AKA the same guy whomade a major villain named 'Count Dooku'... If *I* was a clone and was named "Cody", I'd either insist on being called by my serial number or just avoid reaching the rank of Commander. A name like that is just begging for a towel in the locker room. So says a person calling themselves "Meepo". 'Meepo'? What's up with 'ProgManitee'?

So says a person calling themselves "Meepo". Yeah, I don't claim to be an action hero either!

Then again, I don't know many Sultans with the name of Meepo Then again, before you go raggin' on Meepo, I suggest you read his backstory. Then again, before you go raggin' on anyone, I suggest you read this thread and just be cool

hey all, shaak ti wasn't in the movie because lucas gave gennedy permission to have grievous kill her in the animated fare bridging the second and third installments of the films. little trivia for ya there, also is quite a good show, from the guy who created samurai jack and its available on dvd.

I saw the book about the making of the movie and on one page it shows grievous stab her through the heart while she was meditating.

I saw the animated, and all I remember was that he left Shaak Ti all tied up when he captured Palpatine, but she was still alive at the point...

okay i could be wrong but the one dissapointing thing about grievous is the animated makes him out to be super fast and unbeatable while the movie pretty much shows him as a coward, maybe shaak ti's death was too gruesome to show and hit the cutting room floor, but then people losing their limbs to lightsabers all through the movie was just as gruesome, maybe we'll see it in the extended version dvd oh wait, lucas has adopted the view "what you see is what you get" i don't know we'll see.

I agree with you. Grievous was much more impressive in the cartoon; I just didn't get the sense of menace from him in the movie that I did in the cartoon. Plus, they added this bizarre hacking cough to him in EpIII, ostensibly to give a "preview of what would happen to Darth Vader." Feh, I say. It's one thing to have a character use an imposing mechanical breather; it's another thing to make a character sound like a wheezing emphysemic.

I guess originally Grievous was a little cooler in the movie. Lucas changed him into the coward we saw after viewing an early cut of the movie. The people at cartoon network based their Grievous on the early version. That is also why all of his action figures show him standing tall with a different colored cape. They based the toys on the early Grievous as well. And yea, the coughing was to forshadow Vader, but the cartoon gave us a cool explanation. Mace gave him a nasty force squeeze.

That cough sounded so stupid and you couldn't half understand him sometimes. He's a much more menacing action figure esp. the 12 inch. He's guarding my room right now!!

I just got done reading the book for Episode III, wow! The combination of the book and the movie was absolutely killer. I say this because sfx mentioned something about Shaak Ti being in a future show. In the book when Vader goes to the Jedi Temple, she is supposed to be there guarding it. I don't recall if they talked about her specifically dying, but she was at the temple and everyone was dead afterwards. Just my inference.

Well I certainly would have liked to see HOW she died - especially after seeing her in the Clone Wars cartoons kicking ass. Unless she died being stabbed through the heart while meditating! YIKES. I guess I would have preferred NOT to see that.
