It seems like Galactic Heroes and Miniatures can do them, so why can't Attacktix?
Maybe we could have ten figures (9 old figures + 1 exclusive fig) for a price point of $20.
I don't know dose anybody else think this is a good idea?

I don't know dose anybody else think this is a good idea? I like it, but I think you're setting your price point too low. The current boosters have 2 figures for just over $5 suggested retail. Starters retail about $12 for four figures. Even special sets like the Intergalactic Showdown pack only put 4 figures in, which at our projected cost of roughly $3 a figure, makes the megas in that set a HUGE bargain... not so much with the Battle Master Megas, sadly. Point is that a set with 10 figures would only be $20 if it were an "army" set, and even then, $25-30 would be more in the range I'd expect. Of course, if they DID make a set of 10 figures for $20, I'd gladly take two. ;D

I Really like The Idea of Army starters. I think Hasbro Should push the Attacktix army Vs Squad and maybe add some new rules to go along with it. A Droid army starter with only 5-6 figure would be great a hole 100 point team in a box or like along the line of what davidskywalker was saying 2, 100 point teams would be very nice. as for a price I don't know, but what ever it was I would buy it.

A good idea, and I'd buy it, but I think the Starters are small and contain figures from mixed factions for a reason. You crack it opened and got only 2 good guys and 2 bad guys. This makes you want to try your luck with a booster, so you can hopefully build a greater army on your own. I'm sure I'm not the only one that this trick worked on!

The boosters and the fact that you keep buying more to get what you want is hasbro's bread & butter But Games like HeroScape come with a nice army to start with but people still but the "Expansion Packs" Maybe if they only gave you a Useable but not Awesome army you would still buy more. Example. Vader =40 Imperial Officer =20 2x Stormtrooper =20 2x Biker Scout =20 Cool Squad: But Not Killer.

I depends on how you market it. You could have Hero packs and Squad packs. Hero packs contain 4 higher cost figures while the Squad packs would contain 4-6 of your basic trooper. Heroes of Hoth Luke Skywalker Han Solo Chewbacca Princess Leia Villians of Hoth Darth Vader Admiral Piet Heavy Gunner At-At Commander Squads of Hoth (A basic mixture of maybe even 2 sets Rebel/Imperials) Rebel Hoth Trooper Rebel Hoth Gunner Imperial Trooper Snow Trooper At-AT Driver Probe Droid

That sounds pretty cool. I've always thought probe droids would make cool attacktix.

This would also be a great way to give us all the Revenge of the Sith clone repaints people are clamoring for without filling up boosters with repaints (which is what the other half of people clamor against)

Absolutely, and very cost effective for us in the process. Don't get me wrong, we will still have something to moan and groan about. Let's face it, not ALL figures in the packs will be studs. However, we will have to buy the whole pack to get the ones we want. I still would prefer this over buying blindly.
