My Brother and I were playing the other day and he shot at my Boba Fett( with string ) and knocked Boba off the base, so the base was still on the ground but Boba was knocked off of it. He thinks that Boba should be dead, but I saythat he isn't because his base is still flat on the graound. If you could help us out that would be great. -Thanks-

Red, shed, bed, head, stead, lead, bled, thread, Ted, said...
Oh, sorry, just to make this an even five users and not a joke about how everyone has shown up and said "Dead" and how silly it looks in a big row...
He is as dead as a doornail. Pushing up daisies. Locked in the casket. Available for zombification. Need I say more?

the hasbro "Expert" answered it thus:
Q: If you knock over the human part of Boba Fett (10)(4) but not the base does it count as a kill or not? - Daniel G. , age 14 , Kansas
A: I play that it does, but this goes down to house rules. Your opponent should always lock Boba back into his base tightly to avoid this situation, so we play that it was your opponent that did not secure him back properly which could cause this to happen and therefore they should not benefit from their neglect.
Not as fun as Grievous, nor as definitive, but the same idea none the less.

if it wasn't dead than i could just take him off the base and leave him on the field floor, he would be invincible, only figures like skorponok could even hope to defeat him.

when i play it doesn't count, because i believe that a person is only dead in attacktix if there base is knocked over. it depends how you prefer it. you should just make that decision before the game

Ugh. I say dead. Those string figures (especially that cursed Marvel Green Goblin) can be a menace, and it can be just as hard sometimes just to knock them off their stand, let alone take down the stand with them. My house rule is basically that if the figure gets knocked off, that part of them can't be used anymore, but if the player insists on keeping the stand in play, they can't attack with it or move it without a "pilot". In other words, the figure is out.
