Just for fun to see how these polls look. If you have something different post it here!

This seems stupid to me. If it can only fire one shot per turn, why not just get 7 clone troopers instead? Also the rule about not turning between shots seems dumb; if you miss the first shot, your going to miss the following shots as well. I think the fact that it can turn/ shoot in a turn makes this fun to play, but I do agree that the target spot bounceback needs fixing. Just my two bob's worth.

This seems stupid to me. If it can only fire one shot per turn, why not just get 7 clone troopers instead? My two cents: The fire from the AT-RT is high up and much more powerful than from other figures. So it's far from the shot a clone trooper would give. Shoot someone in the head with a clone trooper from afar, probably won't fall...with the AT-RT it WILL fall on one shot. Plus it's defense is out of site - it's very difficult to bring down. I just think it's very difficult to defeat when you get four shots a turn AND can move it around. What's the fun in playing it then? Just defending my house rules. ;D

Hello,
You've already read this (I think) over at BGG, but I thought I'd post again here:
Question: "When the AT-RT attacks, can (it) change where it is aiming after each of its four shots? Or, does it have to shoot all of its missiles towards the one direction it has pointed its weapon?"
Reply: "Thank you for contacting Hasbro, Inc. Once you begin firing, your figure cannot be moved. We appreciate having the opportunity to assist you."
My take on this is that once you should swivel and aim your AT-Rt, then hold it still while you fire your four shots. This tends to happen anyway with harder targets such as Wookiees, in one game it took at least 4 shots to bring a Wookiee down.

I asked about this one and here is what was said, "When you attack with the AT-RT, you get all four of his shots count as one attack action. So you do get to fire all four missles, whether at the same target or at different targets. You can miss all of them or possibly take out up to 4 figures in play. After the last shot, you may no longer move it. So before careful how you aim your last shot as this locks down your position.", but really what it comes down to it, they said is 'house rules', so whatever you agree on before the game is what really matters.

I think the figure itself is broken, but when fixed with the elastic band method, a striker can take it down with one hit.

I'm still not sure what to make of the AT-RT. To me it seems a little overpowered. You have to send strikers at the leg panels as they can't be pushed back by projectiles even at point blank range (at least mine can't). Then, your strikers have to hit it perfectly and sometimes when you go for the second one, the strike somehow pops the other brace back up. Quite annoying. Especially if it gets to attack 4 serperate targets. Compare that with the Boga, who's legs are easy to hit. Even with a lowly clone from a reasonable distance. That's why we've established the one target per 4 shots rule. In most cases you won't take down the 'hardest to take down' character with your first shot anyway. Works pretty well this way but the AT is still very hard to bring down as my opponent always keeps a striker or two tucked behind it to ambush any leg-hunters.

I don't have the ATRT yet but when I do I will play you can fire how ever many shots you want at any figure. I mean only firing at one target you are better off getting 7 clones.

I found that the AT-RT is easy to take down with long lightsaber figures like Mace. I have taken out both kneel flaps on a single shot with Mace and Tarrful.
The emperor also has an easy time taking control of this one.
Also, I have read posts about the AT-RT not falling down whern hit but do not have that problem with my figure.

I guess I have the enhanced durasteel model AT-RT. Maybe if I worked those pesky legs in a little. Of course then I'm likely to end up breaking the dang thing...

Can I change my vote? I'm starting to see the light (or is it the dark?) about the 4 shots and am leaning towards #1. It's fun to just let the AT-RT shoot all whilly-nilly. It goes with the whole Attacktix vibe: fast, fun, free wheeling. I guess I can best sum it up with a quote by 'Old Ben' Kenobi from Episode 4:
"It's your thing, do what you wanna do. I can't tell you who to sock it to!"

I have contacted the Hasbro Corporate office and I am currently awaiting a response on the official rules for the AT-RT (and an ETA for Tournament Rules.)
I will post them in a new thread when, and if, I get a response.
