Does anyone know how? I have recently purchased a figure that has a bad smell of cigarette smoke, and can't seem to get the smell gone.

I've just put clear tape (like packing tape or something) on the base, with an extra paper protecting the labels from the tape. After making sure its all sealed protecting the labels place it in hydrogen peroxide for an hour or so and BOOM. well, thats just how I make mine not smell.

Won't that mess up the striker mechanism?

You need to lube it afterwards but it cleans the scent.

I do not recommend the words "lube" nor "stroke" be attached to anything, especially plastic toys.
