I have a few pieces that seem to suggest that the "lost series" were dumped at stores over seas. I also have some evidence of some figures that I don't think we as a community were aware of. Plus some more info on what the "relaunch" plan may have been. I'd really like to pool all our resources on what we know about the Final 3 series. And If Webhead came around with any info other than just the like 6 series we knew about, that'd be cool as well. (Marvel2, TF2, TF3, TFMovie, TFX, SW5)
Malform: If I recall correctly you have a painted/production level Arcee figure, does it have the Sticker on the back saying the number?
I think it would be good to "bookend" this great game, but actually writing up all the info we can get ahold of. I have most of the Series 2 Marvel, Series 5 SW and about Halfish of the Series 2 TF in production level quality on the correct bases. Once I get some time I'd be happy to help share all the info on them I can, Powers, ratios that sort of thing.
Its amazing how its taken like 4 years for some of the info to trickle out, but in the past about 16 months, a lot of info has shown up. And it makes me want to document all we can so there is a bit of a history of the game.
Is anyone up for working on this project? Does anyone still care? Will anyone respond to this?
Who Knows. I do know there is a handful of stuff that I'd like to trade/buy off some folks, but that'll be another post on the bst, that likely will end up covered in dust as well.

Great idea. We still care, we even play once in awhile and I still make customs whenever I can find the scarce time.
You're way ahead of us as far as production ready painted stuff- on proper bases, so please do share the bottoms of those bases! We can atleast make labels up and put them on our protos.
PM me what you'd like to trade/sell. We could use 5 TF2 even in unpainted form.

...in the past about 16 months, a lot of info has shown up. You're right, I've been surprised by how many apparent production level figures have been showing up eBay. Is that how you've collected such an impressive amount? All of My Transformer 2 Production came from a Chinese Source that doesn't ebay. 3 of my SW 5 Production came from Ebay, the other 10 came from a different Chinese Source. The Marvel was a mix of ebay and the same Chinese seller as the Transformers. The Paper work Showing the 12 figure Series came about about 4 weeks ago. And it shows some figures I don't think any of us knew were coming. The only figures That I've not seen production of from sw5,m2,tf2 show up for sell. Whirl Gray Hulk Storm Jean Gray R5-D4 Hoth Rebel I have about 4 packages on the way from China that should have a few more winners. But I'm thinking there are some other folks out there with knowledge that aren't sharing.

One of my prize possessions.... Still sits in its clear plastic case, high up on a shelf in my game room, along with some other precious little figures. But yes, she does indeed have a sticker on the rear of her base, I recall that she has a special printed on the bottom as well (I do not want to remove her from the case to confirm, shes been in there a long time now lol)... The strange thing about the figure number on the rear though, is that she appears to have been intended to be released with the first wave of transformers... Neat huh? Another interesting fact you may like to know... I was lucky enough to get my grubby little mits on her, almost a year before the first transformers wave came out. It was before transformer attacktix were even confirmed as I seem to recall.

Maybe I'm off my rocker, but wasn't there a TF series 2 starter set released that would have all the figures numbered? I think it came out at TJ MAx or some such store... in limited quantities.

I have a number of Marvel Series 2 that do not match up to the Quick Start Guide. But match up to the overseas 12 Figure Series Numbers. But I've yet to figure out exactly which country they may have been released in.

I do believe that Attacktix may be one of the most Changed up Modern day major toy line.

This discussion led me to want to make a new facebook page as a hub for all the Attacktix pictures laying around. I'm glad I did as I now see that individual pictures are disappearing from theirs hosts (mostly image shack). Feel free to add any photos you have so they don't disappear. It will probably bring back some good memories, I think it is worth a look. And yes, it does need some more maintenance. Click here

Ok Folks, we've achieved essentially a complete series 5 and since the Forum is so quiet, thought we'd share photos including those much sought after bottoms.
Due to the pictures not coming out the way I want and that I decided this is worthy of it's own thread; check out Star Wars Series 5 complete thread coming soon!
