Remember that little guide that came with the Spider-Man 3 tournament set? (It demonstrated how to attack with each figure.) I found this on the Hasbro site: www.hasbro.com/common/instruct/68282.pdf Enjoy!

I agree, very nice find! That puts to rest any questions about what exactly that Optimus does/did.

I was trying to come to the Joe Attacktix site, but I accidentally typed www.attacktix.com. This was what came up. (With a list of other pdfs. AmDrag

Definite nice snag... even if it was accidental.

I agree, very nice find! That puts to rest any questions about what exactly that Optimus does/did. I must say even more interesting is page 2 with the Megatron mega. He does work very well indeed... ;D

It is really too bad this set never saw the light of day, it looks like a lot of fun. Bonecrusher in particular looks like a really cool figure in my opinion. I still find it weird that they made Optimus so small compared to Megatron.

I agree, Transformers 2 & 3 actually were alot more intriguing to me than Series 1. I especially like the G1 sculpts. The movie style sculpts are quite cool too.
Bonecrusher works quite well. But the Megatron we like alot. A menacing figure on the Tix Battlefield...

Annointed1 and I stumbled into an impromptu game of Attacktix yesterday... very nostalgic. We just grabbed random Transformers figures included his S2 prototypes. I was tearing it up with Whirl until I got a surprise face-full from Grimlock, and he was having tons of success with little ol' Bumblebee.

I've not seen Grimlock in action, but if I'm not mistaken you push his body (his body is attached to hinges in the legs) so that the button on his belly pushes down against a rock in order for his head to shoot out like a prodder. Pretty unique (if I'm not mistaken) and a very nice looking figure.

Yep, that's how he's intended to work. This one doesn't actually make proper contact between the button and the rock, so we had to use something to trigger the pez-like head attack. That giant noggin had a lot more pop to it than I expected!

Without trying to make this an impolite conversation....does anyone else find the positioning of the trigger on Grimlock to be a little inappropriate? Because to make his head pop out you need to activate the button on his....lets say stomach. ...except it is really his lower,...lower stomach.

Actually yes, it does seem a bit odd, and if I'm not mistaken there was quite the discussion about his button's... placement when he was first revealed all that time ago. They could have put the button on the rock, which would have made about as much sense as a button on his... stomach. Whatever works for them I suppose.
