A lot of huge (pun intended) talk has been generated about the new 2'+ AT-AT for the 3.75" Star Wars figures has been making the rounds on blogs all over the internet and most every Star Wars fan boy or girl is extremely excited. But it looks like another long rumored toy might be overshadowed by it's bigger brother but it's perfect (I think) for us Attacktix nuts. The GALACTIC HEROES AT-AT!!! toyfair2010.figures.com/showphoto.php/photo/480toyfair2010.figures.com/showphoto.php/photo/479If I had this baby in my hands I'd put one Gunship base on each foot for a 8 hit take-down - 2 movement (they were pretty slow) - 4 (or so) guns - and the ability to deploy Snow Troopers (perhaps with a R2-D2 style spinner to tell you how many to deploy and, to be fair, perhaps the option of either attacking or deploying - not both). And for all you customizers - how about a Snow Speeder with Slave Leia's tow-cable grapple thingie. Now we just need our Snow Troopers, AT-AT Drivers, and Hoth Troopers (I'm looking at you HASBRO!!!)

Now we just need our Snow Troopers, AT-AT Drivers, and Hoth Troopers (I'm looking at you HASBRO!!!) Nice try man. You should be looking at us instead! I can't keep myself from saying it... that's got to be the cutest toy I've ever seen. I'm not sure Rogue Squadron would be able to take it seriously! But SFX, I love your idea. Any idea on the price point for this baby? I doubt I'd spring for it... but it would be incredibly sweet. And I'm definitely on board with your ideas for deploying figures. One more great thing that could've been.

I think I saw somewhere that is was $39.99 - The huge AT-AT for the reqular figures is around $99.99 Cute is right, but I'm not sure I would use this one for a custom mega...I know SuperFly and one or two others did a great job with custom AT-AT's. Someone even made a snowspeeder with a velcro tipped missile/ grapple line to pull down the AT-AT... somewhere deep in the customs section if the pics have not suffered photobucket death. We have a Star Wars Miniatures AT-T, just about the right height, but never got around to customizing it. Cost about $35. No hatch for deployment though. Made our own Heavy Snow Trooper...oh, well may be one of these days...
