I know DoNP will be on latter to fill everyone in, but let me tell you this was the best Steel City Con yet! I had a great time and am already anxious for the December 4-6 show in the new building. Without a doubt there are still tons of Tix fans out there anxious for more figures. Simply put we had people lined up to ask questions and find out when there favorite character was coming out, I just wished I could give them some answers... As Midnight Majick said, this was an EXTREMELY successful show for us AND for Attacktix. The show was this past Friday, Saturday and Sunday (24th, 25th, 26th) and was held at the Pittsburgh Indoor Sports Arena. Friday was a slow day to start out, but it definitely gave us a taste of things to come. What I'm mainly referring to is the fact that we recouped the cost of our dealer table in the first 5 hours of the show! Simply amazing! Here are some pics: We also managed to get some photo opportunities with a couple of the celebrity guests... Orli Shoshan with Attacktix Shaak TiAnthony Daniels and Himura297 with Attacktix C3POAntony Daniels and me with Attacktix C3POGoing into this we thought we'd barely break even, but we did much better than that. We exposed new people to the game, helped some seasoned players with completing their collections, and we also gained about 40 more petition signatures in the process. Everything went so well in fact, that we've already pre-ordered our table for the next show which will be December 4th, 5th, & 6th. This was a ton of fun for us, and I think everyone that stopped by our table would say the same. Last but not least, there were some key players that made all of this possible: Huge thanks to Himura297, MM, SinisterSyndicator, and LarimusPrime (despite the lack of photographic evidence, he was there too!). Without those guys we wouldn't have had nearly enough brain or muscle to pull this off. Thanks to IonicDesign for helping to supply us with the big fancy Attacktix banner! Thanks to Radar for the inspiration for the celebrity pics. That David Prowse pic you got (from Celebration IV?) was awesome. And a big thanks to Chris and Brenda Brown from Wombat & Chips for giving us plenty of shelving, ideas, and support for this endeavor.

The pictures are great and I hope they entice more to come out in December. Like I said earlier it was such a great experience to show and explain the game to others. I really wish with more petition signature that Hasbro hears us out. To add to that people out there really want their favorite characters, not just the same clone trooper done again with a different label. There was a huge demand for Punisher just as a fan favorite not even considering the game itself. Plus as people looked over the toys they wanted Iron Man, Dr Doom, Storm, Mara Jade and so on.

I'm glad your event was so successful. I love the photos! I hope we can continue to get more film stars with their figures. I'm hoping to get Lou Ferrigino with a Hulk or two next time at the comic con.
That's really cool that it was a financial success for you guys too. I can't wait to see what you guys come up with in December. Congratulations.

Wow that looks great, a nice display, I was happy to help. Glad it went well and was fun Hopefully this report can back to folks at Hasbro, and perhaps cause them to reconsider.

One other nice thing that I forgot to mention was the fact that I got to meet the forum's own notpicard.

That's really awesome gang. Glad to see that everything went great & the 'tix still has some life in it. Perhaps I'll make the trek in December. I used to live in the 'Burg and am only 4hrs. away.

Cool, we'd love to see you there! I've already begun replenishing my Tix stock so we should have plenty of good stuff on hand by then.
