I went December 07' as well. We left Indy on the 9th and stayed 5 days at Disney Resorts. Had lots of fun.
I also like Thunder Mountain Railroad, the dinosaur ride at Animal Kingdom (can't remember the name), and Expedition Everest.

DoNP and I are going in October for our anniversary. In fact, the confirmation came in the mail today. We will be driving which will be about 16-18 hours. I am so excited, it will be my first time there. All I want to do is see the castle and meet Snow White and the seven dwarfs. We will be there 4 days, any tips send them our way.

Didn't most people on this forum go on Vacation and never come back?

Magic Kingdom is your best chance of meeting Snow and the D-Boys. My advice to you is ask one of the attendants and they can tell you where everyone of the characters will appear and what times. Hollywood Disney, you need to do The Tower of Terror. It's a total blast IMO. Loved it. You'll get a chance to enjoy Fantasia if you stay late. I recommend you do. Magic Kingdom, you should do Thunder Mountain Railroad. The daughter and I did it 13 times in a row. We had a blast. This to me was the best park there. Animal Kingdom, you need to do Expedition Everest and the Dinosaur Ride (can't recall the name of it). Both are a blast. But beware both can toss you around a bit. Epcot, you need to do Fast Track and Soaring. Both are worth the wait. I always recommend staying late if you can and enjoying the fireworks display. Do the after hours pass if you can as well. Enjoy yourselves and DON'T RUSH! There's not going to be enough time to do everything and trust me, there's something to see wherever you go. You kids have fun, and congratulations. You'll never forget the experience. Oh, and one last thing, TAKE LOTS OF PICTURES!!!

Thanks for the advice GE! Like she said, MM hasn't been there ever and I haven't been there since I was about 5, so it'll be basically a new experience for both of us. Can't wait! ;D

Don't forget to wear comfortable shoes. You'll be doing LOTS of walking and you'll regret it if your shoes are not comfortable.
First time I went my feet were fine. The second time we went I remember having to stop and sit on the sidewalk and take my shoes off cause of my feet hurting so bad.
Comfortable shoes are a must before you go.
Get fast passes. They are well worth the effort. They make is so you wait much less time in line. Then you can go do whatever else you want to instead of sitting in line for an hour plus.

Hmmm, what's that? Is it some sort of VIP pass or something that you pay extra for? Sounds like a pretty cool idea!
