I stopped that a while back, maybe I'll take that up again after the holidays.
I think the best team that I have seen is the one Greyelephant used at TixCon (I think I remember it correctly - GE correct me if needed):
2 S2 Kit Fistos 5 SM1 Spider-Man Strikers 1 SM1 Spider-Man Web Blaster 1 SM1 Venom 5 S2 Jedi Knights 1 Gold KAM
Lots of Attackbacks... very hard team to beat!

I think you've got it right Chris. I kept thinking that I had 2 web blaster Spidey's, but there's no other figures that I could see removing to free up the points needed.
Man I loved that team.
The only other team that I almost played with at TixCon, but ended up giving to my niece was.
x4 S3 Luke Skywalker x1 S3 Tournament Luke Skywalker X3 S4 Han Solo
Lots of recover with great strikers.

I'm all about 5 series four Darth Vaders. I should check the probabilities on Chris Conas team, but I've never seen 5 Vaders beat. ...I've never even seen more than one Vader go down on this team.

I've got 3 S4 Vaders, so that's the most I've ever had on one team when I play. Usually they don't do so well when all three are on the same team, but that's just my memory.

Though I would have to agree that 5 Vaders sounds in theory like a good team, everytime I've played with them I've lost more times than won.
Let's face it, with Vader it's all about him being white. If he's not, you're going down fast. With my team it's not only whites, but it's also about swarming your opponent with as many figures possible with the added bonus of high %'s.

I like teams that utilize Mystique. Try something with Kit Fistos, some sort of low point leaders (Dooku or grievous), Sabertooths, and a couple Mystiques.
It's a tough technique to master, but with a level playing surface and a lot of practice, it can be done; sacrifice one of your attacks to "skootch" a Mystique; I usually use Kit Fisto for this since he's strong but his attack is straight forward. By placing Mystique's gun beforehand in certain positions, you can alter her balance so that the right attack will slide her a decent distance but not knock her down. By doing this you can essentially increase Mystique's range to anywhere on the board, depending on how good you can aim with this technique. 5 Vader teams don't do so well anymore, or just about any team that rides on one or two high-powered figures for that matter.

Wow - you can slide Mystique like that? Her base is so small and she's so small that I would think that's not possible - have to try that out with the gun placement. I love the "thinking outside the box" that people come up with in this game!

One position I've found that works fairly well is this: With her loaded gun, turn her around so that the end of the bullet is between the back of her dress and the back of her effect platform; she'll bend forward a little, but it alters her balance so that skootching her becomes a little bit easier.

You know, I like Mystique a lot. I just wish that I could for once get her special to come up white. My daughter gets her to come up white all the time, but me, nope, NEVER! I just love the Marvel figures. I have so much fun with them even though some are crappy. With this whole hiatus thing going on I like making up new specials (not necessairly change the figures labels) and points just to make some games more interesting. I want Scorpion.......................

Funny, we're such a bunch of amateurs we don't even keep track of points when we make our teams. We just say you choose 10 figures and I choose 10 figures. My son of late has been whipping my butt and over Christmas, he lost a close battle with his uncle (who doesn't play much for lack of having hardly any figures). So what does that say about me? But, I really enjoy reading about 200 pt teams and think I'll challenge my son that we play this way. Of course, I won't tell him about these crack teams you've guys come up with and I'll be sure to use them. Maybe I'll win for a change!

Over the holidays, me and my brother had the time to play a few games of Attacktix, and my Marvel teams - hands down - consistently beat the crap out of my brother's SW teams. I only got into Attacktix because of Star Wars, and now I love my Marvel tix a lot more than my SW tix. And I have extraordinary luck with Mystique. She always comes up white for me. Me and my brother do play 200 and 400 point teams, but we are much more restrictive (playing multiple personalities, for instance, is highly discouraged). But whether 200 or 400 point teams, my Marvel teams are way stronger than his SW teams.

But whether 200 or 400 point teams, my Marvel teams are way stronger than his SW teams. Could you give some examples of what 'tix are on these teams? We didn't bother to write down the teams, so I'll have to go from memory. My Marvel team usually consists of Tossing Hulk, Spitting Venom, Mystique, Web/Force shooter Spidey, Punisher, Pyro, Electro, Dr. Octopus, and Prodder Wolverine. Again, our teams typically fall within the range of 200 to 400 points, so more might be added to this core, or some of these might be taken out, depending on what our point ceiling is. One of my brother's toughest teams he likes is what he calls his Sith/Empire Team - Darth Sideous, Darth Maul, Count Dooku, any of the Vaders (Force or Spaz), several large missle Stormtroopers/Sandtroopers, and several of his officers. Again, I'm just going by memory on all this. My Marvel team beat the crap out of this team. My brother also attempted to take on my Marvel team with a Rebel/"Good" team, but again did not succeed. On that team, he had Old Ben, Striker Luke, Capt. Antilles, Classic Princess Leia, Han Solo, X-Bow Chewy, all three of his Ewoks (Chirpa, Wicket, and that Chief dude), both X-Wing Pilot unique personalities, and a number of Rebel troopers and X-Wing Pilots. That's about what our battles looked like. By and large, my brother didn't get hardly any specials, and I made out very will with specials. Again, we don't use multiple unique personalities in our teams.
