Hi all, I have a question that I hope someone can help with.
Our son went through a major starwars phase a little while ago. About the same time there was a lot of attacktix stuff on sale (having browsed this board I gather it was probably becasue they stopped making them).
Anyway, we have been sitting on these Attacktix models for a while and finally gave them to him for his birthday.
The fun but there is one thing I don't understand and can't seem to find an answer to (probably because I don't really know what I am looking for).
We have the wampa and Luke hoth set. For some reason, unlike the other figures, the wampa (and at least one or two others) do not have a move number written on the base.
Instead the clicking 'tix bit has a number that changes as it clicks.
We have been playing that the wampa can move as many tix as there were showing in the window when the turn started.
I was hoping someone here could tell me whether this was 'right' or whether I am missing something. All the instructions I can find seem to assume the number is on the base and the only thing I ahve found so far is a wikia entry that says it moves "6" which is a lot less than the 6-7-8 ... odd that the tix number gets up to.
Can anyone help?

You are playing correctly, the number on the wheel is the tix movement.... Hasbro in their infinite wisdom changed the tix movement.

Correct, so just use the number that is displayed on the base at the start of your turn. Apparently they thought it would be fun and be strategic to have it change.

Great. Thanks for clearing that up. I spent a large chunk of yesterday trawling the internet with no luck until I ended up here. Now I can get back to getting tix-whipped by my son secure in knowledge he is winning "by the rules"

Nothing like getting your clock cleaned by a nine year old! My son has beaten me more than his fair share.
