Well, here's the update....it's a Girl! Natalie Katrina Ruth was born yesterday morning at 8:34 AM, and weighed in at a whopping 8 pounds, 3.9 ounces. She is a poop factory! I think I changed more diapers last night than I did the first week with Hannah!
She's oh-so-cute, looks a lot like her sister (but is not a Melissa-clone like Hannah is) but we think she is jaundiced a bit (red as a tomato) so perhaps Chase and she will be bunkmates in the Blue Light Special!
More later - 2 hours sleep and I had to get Hannah off to school!

Welcome to being completely out numbered in your own household. Congratulations and good luck with the diapers.

I'm very happy for you and Melissa.
How is Melissa doing? Is she able to get up yet? I know that after my wife had her C done that it was forever before she healed up. Still has problems to this day.

She's sore, but doing well. Funny you mention Carmen's C because when Hannah came she had an emergency C and it ruined her for a couple of years - the scar was sensitive as could be, her bladder shrunk to a teacup size and she had to pee all the time (no jokes about the drug commercial..gotta go, gotta go, gotta go right now gotta go, gotta go, gotta go!) but this doctor was phenomenal and put her back together really well - he noted that she was a 'bit out of place' and he corrected the old doctor's hack job.
All in all she only got tylenol up until this point but they gave her a percocet and now she's...well...perky!

Congratulations! May Mom (especially) and Dad receive their much needed rest. Our first was emergency C-section and I was up 22 hours straight, so I know how draining it is, but no where near what Mom goes through. Sounds like SuperFly is surrounded by women. I have four daughters and one son, so I can "sympathize".

The only son I can ever hope to have is my dog, Samwise Gangee, who has been neutered, so the testosterone level is overrun...
