If you want the commando to be a feared unit, simply make his special Vengeance -> Remove one of your opponent's figures from play. (Similar to S3 Boba Fett.)

True, but there's a lot better 30 point figures that could be used instead - heck, you could throw in a 20 point Ghost Rider, or 30 point Yoda, or 20 point Grievous instead. If Vengeance is the power, make it 20 points and only if another Wookiee is in play to encourage using other Wookiees.

I envision a Commando doing things alone. That's because you might be envisioning Arnold Schwarzenegger taking everyone down solo in "Commando" - which might not be how it actually goes.

Yeah, but it was sure neat to watch when I was a kid. ;D I want him to be a specialist. So with that in mind we could make his special work with other specialists. How about "free move and attack for all of your wookie specialist figures"? Or "free attack for all of your wookies specialist launcher figures"?

Specialist makes sense for the Commando. I really like the idea of giving him Infiltrate too. I don't have any TF figures actually, so I've never seen how it works in game, but I think it's a fun idea that fits with the concept of a commando.

We all need to put in our 2 cents on what we want. I've narrowed it down to the following.
1. Infiltrate - If you have a wookie in play. 2. Capture - If you have another figure in play. 3. Rally - Return 2 of your defeated wookies. 4. Attackback - Free move and attack for all of your wookie Specialists. 5. Shootback - Free attack for all of your wookie launcher specialists. 6. Rescue - Stand back up on your starting line if you have a wookie in play. 7. Vengeance - Remove the attacking figure. (We could substitute a warrior, or choose and remove).
I think we've all agreed that he will be 30 points still and a specialist. So we mainly need to agree upon his special. Let's vote!

Sorry to vote for more than one, but I can't decide and would be most happy with one of the following:
2. Capture - If you have another figure in play. 3. Rally - Return 2 of your defeated wookies.
30 points still and a specialist agreed

I'm not sure which I prefer at this point, but I just wanted to remind everyone that while we want to make him fit the commando role, let's also make sure we're filling holes in the Wookiee faction.
(Btw, my Vengeance idea was not to remove the attacking figure, but to remove ANY of your opponent's figures. That would be an incredibly powerful special, better than Ghost Rider or Yoda and more versatile - albeit a lower ratio - than Striker Grievous.)

OIC - in that case it's definately more powerful! And to be clear, I wasn't swatting down your idea which I think has a lot of merit, I was simply trying to point out that there are other figs out there that would trump the use of a 30 point Vengeance figure.
I also want to point out that the other options like Truth's "Fall Back" and other people's new ideas were NOT on the list.
That being said, I vote for Vengeance - ANY, 30 pt. Specialist, 8 movement.

3. Rally - Return 2 of your defeated wookies.
30 points, specialist, 8 movement.

3. Rally - Return 2 of your defeated wookies. 30 points, specialist, 8 movement. I vote for this too, which is very similiar to what I posted before, only difference being Leader: SW-0X > Wookie Commando > 30 pts > Leader > Speed 8 > Wookie > Rally: Return up to two of your other defeated Wookies to play

While we are doing this, are we willing to consider actual figure modifications? The reason I ask is because something I've cooked up can help out a certain group of Wub Wub Fuzzballs (which I'm positive we'll get to) and the "Walking Carpets" we are currently discussing.

Hmmm.......I like the idea, but am concerned on if everybody would have the capacity to make the modifications. How does everybody else feel about this?

I guess it really depends on what kind of modifications we're talking about; swapping weapons with another figure, altering the sculpt, what?
