GameStop's website has a pre-order up for this upcoming game (due 10-21-08). www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=72045Not much is know about the game at this point, other than the fact that it will be developed by Artificial Mind and Movement and published by Activision. I think Activision did a fine job with the TF Movie games for the DS, so I'm looking forward to this one. I'll post more info as it becomes available.

Alright, here's some news... The latest Nintendo Power had this tidbit of information to say about the game: "It's Not Over, Prime"The Transformers roll out once more on DS.Based on the latest incarnation of the robots in disguise currently airing on Cartoon Network, Transformers Animated heads exclusively to DS this fall. Players will be able to choose from a full roster of Autobots as they solve team-based puzzles, race through the streets of futuristic Detroit, and, of course, bust some Deceptichops. And IGN has posted a preview of the game, with screen shots, here: ds.ign.com/articles/893/893197p1.htmlBe sure to note the tearful responses of the fan-boys toward the bottom of the page.

...Kinda forgot to post about this game. I got it the day it came out, but still haven't beaten it yet. The game is pretty much a big puzzle game in the form of a platforming game. You have to guide the 3 Autobots (Optimus, Bulkhead, Bumblebee) through the stages together, using each of their unique skills to get past obstacles and advance through the stage. There are also some driving stages in which you control Prowl and Ratchet is there to provide tutorials and advice, but aside from that he's pretty much absent from the game. The final level is a 3-on-1 fight against Megatron, and it's HARD. That's the main reason why I haven't beaten it yet. You spend the whole game solving puzzles and beating up on small enemies, then the final level throws a seemingly impossible boss at you. Not a bad game, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you really love Transformers.

Is there any multiplayer stuff on it? Nope, it's just single player. I kinda want to take a crack at it, maybe i'm prime enough to take down megatron. Funny that you mention that, because just today I FINALLY beat this game!!! ;D After about 2 months of taking a break from playing that evil final level, I was actually able to do it today! Not sure if there was a easier way to finish Megatron, but here's what I did: 1- I hid Bumblebee safely in a corner where Megatron couldn't get him. Unfortunately, his weapons seem to have no effect on Megs. 2- I hid Optimus as well, to save his strength for later in the fight. 3- I dealt some slow and steady damage to him with Bulkhead. ...And I mean SLOW. I could punch 3 times before Megatron countered, then I'd block his barrage and once he was done, I'd repeat the process over again. 4- Once I whittled Megatron down to about 1/10 of his health, I tucked Bulkhead into the corner and brought out Optimus to deliver the final blows. I thought it was more appropriate for him to end Megatron's reign. 5- I sat back and enjoyed the final cut-scene. ;D This last fight took forever! According to the game's timer, it took almost 20 minutes for me to beat Megatron down! As I said before, I'm not sure if there was an easier way to do it, but steady and slow got the job done for me. Phewww! It's over! ;D

I got it yesterday and just beat it. i figured out what u should have been doing, although bubblebee has the hardest job.
1- use prime to run around and take out the turrets and when he's done hide him in the bottom corner. he should take out the turrets because his axe can arc around terrain.
2- get bubblebee in the oposite bottom corner from prime.
3-bulkhead stalks megatron like i did to girls i liked in high school. you want to get megatron into the center of the bottome level. u can use ur wreckingball to make him laugh at you.
4-when he's doing that, use bubblebee to run up and zap the engine. it will activate the anti-grav pump. switch back to bulkhead, and follow megatron. use his combo to knock megatron off the platform and he'll fall to the bottom and be stuned marked by him down on one knee.
5-get bubblebee out of there before or after you switch to bulkhead to follow megatron. and have prime throw his axe repeatedly at megatron while he's stun.
soon megatron will be taking a LONG stasis nap ;-) When i figured this out, bubblebee was too low to risk getting hit. but the important thing is to use bulkhead to knock megatron down then prime kickes him while he's down. My time as like 10 minutes and 50 seconds.

Congratulations! I knew there had to be an easier way! I saw that the generator started the anti-grav, but I couldn't figure out any way to make it useful. Very cool!
