THIS is a figure from a different line...but you can't help but think it would make a great flick flight figure...let the "fighting figuration" begin...

Saw them last night at TRU. They are sold in visible two packs.

Yes, picked up 5 sets at TRU last Thursday. I'll give my impressions after we put them through their paces a bit more. See my avatar, that's joker on a Tix base.
I can say this so far, the biggest "disappointment" is the launchers. They shoot reasonably far, but are so light, they have practically no knock down power from anything but upclose distance. The upside is they can work very up close. And they work quite well as prodders (that might be the way to go, adjust tix speed accordingly for a prodder). I think I can mod them to shoot harder and add some weight for more knock down power.
I'm actually quite happy with the flick flight mechanism.
Darkseid is the bad boy of the bunch, a real powerful tosser and works consistently.
The power punch figures get the job done.
More later....

I'm waiting until I hear about how these are going to work for Attacktix before I invest in them. So far the projectiles sound weak in 2 of the reviews I've read.
Let us know more when convenient, Attacktixman.

Well, I picked up Darkseid/Superman, Catwoman/Batman, and Batgirl/Joker today.
Good points.
1. The sculpts are amazing! 2. Joker actually shoots that tongue like a bullet. That was a pleasant surprise. 3. Darkeid is one big boy. He should be fun to work with. 4. Flick flight isn't as big a problem as I thought it would be. You can actually be very accurate with them. 5. Bases can be glued ontop of tix bases.
Bad points.
1. Bullets are very light and hardly knock anything over from a distance. They are good though from about 12-18 inches away. 2. Power punch is a little difficult to work. Their arms aren't really long enough to reach your opponents figures. 3. The springs for power punch, throw, and flight are in the base not the figure. This could become an issue when trying to convert to an Attacktix base. 4. The flick flight figures are a little light. I am not sure how we are going to convert them as of yet. With that said, I DO believe they have a place somehow. 5. The power punch figures arms are rubbery not solid.
With all this said, I am still missing a few of the others. I will pick them up later. I am not sure how many waves we can expect of these so let's enjoy this while it lasts.
