I am buying them when they come out. This to me is a fix to the Attacktix "hiatus". If Hasbro wants to sit with their thumbs up their bums, fine, by all means do it. For me I am going Mattel. ;D

For me I am going Mattel. ;D Agreed. One of the cool parts of Heroclix is doing fun things like teaming up Spider-Man and Batman, Lex Luthor and Magneto, etc. I'm not going to miss my chance to do that with 'tix! Aside from that, the sheer wealth of customizable base figures is enough to start me drooling...

Absolutley! Just the ability to try and make an Atttacktix Superman and Batman would be great. I am looking forward to them. Let's face it if Hasbro wants to sit and do nothing, I'll take my money elsewhere. I have no problems whats so ever.

Ha! Clear boosters, huh? Interesting, very interesting.
Maybe Hasbro is sitting back and wondering if it's time to do the same?

Ha! Clear boosters, huh? Interesting, very interesting. But I thought the gaming half of this project was aborted? They're are just small action figures now, aren't they?

There appears to be no "game" to them anymore, just action figures with some attacks similar to what we are familiar with in Tix. One more link.

OK...OK...easy...I was mostly needing a lead in to the new links I found. Conflict of interest? I love DC Comics about as much as I love Marvel...no conflict there.

Ha! Clear boosters, huh? Interesting, very interesting. But I thought the gaming half of this project was aborted? They're are just small action figures now, aren't they? Who the heck cares? These are going on Tix Bases! And I'll personally put them on for anyone who can't do it themself no charge! Just send me the figures and the Tix bases and I'll even pay the return shipping. For instance, Batman is going on the SpiderMan Mega. Here's a challenge, why not come up with standard (agreed upon through committee, but with input through board members) powers, specials, points , class and factions, etc. That should be alot of fun work. Us customiZers can come up with standard actual attacks. I've always believed in when one door shuts another opens. Just me being my normal, excitable, positive, realistic self.

Oh, yeah. We definitely need to come up with a set standard in time for TixCon 2008. Perhaps we should open the next committee to anyone who has the figures (?) . I personally cant wait to start sticking these on Tix bases and printing up some labels. DC Fighting Figures on eBay. You can find more if you check his other auctions, but I think you might save some money by waiting until they hit retail.

Yes,yes, Radar! Think about it, everything to do this is available (or will be once the actual DC FF's hit retail). There are a bunch of guys & gals who really know their thing for gameplay, pointing, etc. under the current Rules Committee. We can even come up with an offshoot DC FF's Tix Game Play & Design Comittee. The awesome TixTool (with labelmaker and other great features) will be indispensable. Maybe we can even convince Malform to add standard DC faction symbols at a later date! A tutorial on how to put these figs on Tix bases can be developed, someone like SuperFlyTNT comes to mind, for anyone who'd like to do it on their own. (Alot of the info on how to do this sort of thing is already on this board). I wouldn't mind being an associate contributor. And as I said, I'll put 'em on for free if someone can't, such as a young person or someone who just isn't into that sort of thing, but sure would like DC FF's Tix! There's a plethora of relatively cheap (or really dirt cheap if you live in California and found them at a Dollar Store ) Attacktix figures out there to take Tix bases from (and attack mechanisms if need be). Back to the Figures themselves. There are 24 four of these guys! In clear packaging (Mattel won't have to worry about "boosters" being ripped open) and coming to retail stores and I bet under 6 bucks for a two pack! I'd also bet there will be a Series 2 (or more). They look great and are perfectly sized. Remains to be seen if the factory "attack" mechanisms will knock them over once put on Tix bases, but you know us customiZers will take care of that. So join the Attacktix Underground that JackPunch started (if you haven't already) and hiatus this!

I hear ya A.M., I am buying these buggers no matter what. They will make great customs. Clear boosters, man I am so happy that we won't have to guess as to what we are getting. If I want more than one Superman, I can buy another. Awesome! This is going to be fun. ;D
