All they have to do is give the clone troopers new heads and resell the first two sets and the new clonewars fans 6-11yr kids will go crazy for them. And I'll be happy to. Old attacktix is better than no attacktix i always say. |sf>Yup. Hasbro could throw out some old recolored Attacktix in a box, slap a game board with it, place it in the games isle, and we'd probably all be excited regardless of whether it was Transformers, Star Wars, Marvel, or a mixture. Everyone on this board would be buzzing about where to find that set. I mean, look at our excited reaction to the Family Dollar sets. That was just Hasbro's leftovers (even though some of them were new leftovers)!

We would probably be buzzing if they shipped and restocked same old figures we already have.

Dollar General, 99 cent stores, Ross, TJ Maxx etc. Yeah, just those that never made it into stores.

I refuse t believe it. I understand we are in a hard spot now, but so was Galactic Heroes, so was GI Joe (a few times), I mean seriously.....Mattel has re-launched He-Man. He-Man!
So no. I cannot, will not, shall not accept that this game is dead. We just saw Hero Clix (as well as Halo, horror, and a variety of other clix) go down, so did WizKids Pocket Model game, but in their own press release they present the possibility of the games continuing. "Topps will immediately pursue strategic alternatives so that viable brands and properties, including HeroClix, can continue without noticeable disruption."
Nope. I know you can't say who this insider is, but can you at least say how they know or where they got their info? They are a upper management at a retailer I would assume. We already knew that the retailers weren't loving how the sales were near the end of Star Wars series 4. But I have to say this sound a bit like the Green19 guy who posted that a CSR told him Attacktix were done.
All I know is Hasbro says they are re-launching (slowly) and other people who don't work for Hasbro are saying differently. I am in no way trying to discredit what others have said, but if I have to choose to believe something someone from Hasbro said or someone outside of Hasbro, I'm going to trust the people who are in charge of the products and licenses.
I know things look grim, but I remain confident that things will improve.

I'm still saying that I'm not going anywhere. If or when these babies are relaunched, I'll be first in line. And, I too still hold the faith just like Radar.

I'm sticking with the game too guys. So even if there are only three people left in the US that play the game, I'll be proud to say that I'm one of them. Nothing will change my optimistic outlook on the game's future until Brian Wilk says otherwise.

You're assuming Brian makes all the decisions on what flies and what doesn't....that is NOT necessarily the case.
I hope that this is not true, but hey, it's been HOW LONG?
Personally, I think that the Target 2$ boxes on Series 4 Attacktix cost a TON of people a TON of money and everyone got burned.
Target got all the business, but at zero margin or at a loss, all the others got stuck with a TON of inventory that's still sitting around a year later. Had to sell it at COST to Dollar General...
Nobody won, and now we're out a game.

Target did indeed get the shaft. However, that's why they wish to relaunch as opposed to just releasing more sets that could've accidently been put on clearance like what Target did.
Target not carring Attacktix isn't a big surprise. They don't carry Heroscape either. Walmart is the store that you MUST convince to carry Attacktix. If they agree, then we'll be fine.

My gut tells me that wave 5 is on the shelf and that they are working on Clone Wars that look like the cartoon figures as we speak. I can't blame them. You must sell what's hot at the time.
Transformers could easily go to the new version that's on TV right now as well. I think those would look great!
Keepin' the faith.
