It's a shame there is not a link on the YouTube page that links to the Petition site. ARRGGHHHH!!! But there is!!!! If you click on the info section to the right, there is a link to the petition there! ...As well as a link to Hasbro's official Tix site, and a link to the wonderful Joe Attacktix site. Doesn't anyone read video info? Actually, I do. ;D I posted on the vid. I'm called TheAmericanDragn on Yotube. +1 Karma for the vid. Gideon

I just typed in "attacktix petition" on Google out of curiosity to see what would come up, and the first thing that pops up is the petition on transformersfans.com. Check it out: www.transformersfans.com/fan-sites/attacktix-petition/Right now, I'm working on posting the petition on the Gamesradar forums. There's only a Star Wars area on there (for now!), but it's a start! Keep up the good work! EDIT: I read the forum rules on Gamesradar, and users are prohibited from advertising anything related to another forum, and any advertisements will be ignored and deleted. So much for that idea.

Then don't relate it to our site. Just post the petition. ...?
This is really cool. I can't wait to see how many people will see and sign this think ing the coming months.
BTW, GamesRadar is a great name for a site. Just thought I'd share.
I sent out PM's to 67 different Attacktix fans on BoardGameGeek.com hopefully they will in turn get a few friends to sign.

Okay, being that Radar and I both emailed www.theprivateuniverse.co.uk/ , they couldn't resist helping us! Actually, the staff member that I contacted, Pete, seems like a really cool guy and is eager to help us in any way that he can. Here's the reply I received: ----------------------------------------------------- From: "The Private Universe" <theprivateuniverse@btinternet.com> Subject: Re: Attacktix Battle Figure Game Date: Tue, 15 Apr 2008 12:27:35 +0100
Hi Happy to help, it's posted this morning. I would like to continue to support the petition by having a link to your petition in the margins, a 100x36 banner if possible. Also why not ask a question to Hasbro via our Hasbro QnA feature, you will gain more attention as all the Q's get posted on Rebelscum, so thus more potential signers. Anything more I can do please just ask, always happy to support. Good luck Pete--------------------------------------------- With that in mind, is there anyone that would like to volunteer to create a 100x36 banner for Pete to use on his site? I already used their "Hasbro QnA" feature, so it'd be nice to have a schnazzy banner to gain even more attention for us. .......... Update!Immediately after posting my banner request, IonicDesign got to work on this very cool banner, which I then emailed to Pete at "The Private Universe": www.mcapell3d.com/attacktix_banner.swfThanks ID!

Very nice, very nice. BTW I posted the petition on Gamesradar about 20 minutes ago, and there's plenty of active members on there, so things should pick up really quickly.

Pete from "The Private Universe" just emailed me again with the following questions for us: ------------------------------ Hi Happy to help. Would you be willing to add a banner link back to TPU on your site? Something I thought interesting from your youtube video was the comment about some people not knowing what Attacktix was, and as one of those people I wondered if you would be interested in writing some sort of articles, features or something that we could post on the site and encourage people to get into Attacktix... LMK what you think. Cheers Pete------------------------------------- Being that the site isn't mine, I can't speak on behalf of JoeAttacktix. It's up to Joe and/or the Mods to decide if they'll use his banner. For his other question, I immediately thought of Yaggleberryfinn's "How To Play Attacktix" YouTube video: youtube.com/watch?v=JCJ6Yr3P1hMAttacktix really isn't something you can just tell someone about. A demonstration is the best way to do it, and that video does the job beautifully. Anyone else have any ideas?

Link them to Master Attacktix, it's still the best basic and strategy site out there, even though it hasn't been updated in a very long time.

Speaking of Webhead, how come the petition isn't up on his site? Prob some kind of contract things being a hasbro employee and all.

Speaking of Webhead, how come the petition isn't up on his site? Prob some kind of contract things being a hasbro employee and all. That may be true but I wouldn't call Webhead a Hasbro employee exactly. He's not employed by them full time (that I know). It's more like he's self employed (in the case with Hasbro) and freelances his services to them. He's an independent contractor. Plus (if the signature is true) Brian Wilk, who is a full time employee of Hasbro, has signed the petition. So I really don't see a conflict of interests.
