1. Go to www.photobucket.com to register your new account. Click the red "Sign up now" button. 2. Fill in the appropriate fields. 3. You will then be sent a confirmation email. Click the link in the email to complete registration. 4. To begin uploading images, log in to your new account. 5. Click on the 'Browse' button to find the image you want to upload. 6. Find the folder on your computer where your images are stored and click on it. 7. Double click on the image you want to upload. Make sure that the image name does not contain any spaces or punctuation. 8. The folder location of the image will now display in the 'Picture' box. 9. Add an optional 'Tag' or 'Title' to your image. This will display above the image in your album and will be accessible with Search if your album is Public. 10. Click 'Submit' to begin the upload. 11. A message will appear in the 'Add Pictures' section of the page to indicate the image was added successfully. 12. When the upload completes successfully, the image will appear in your album! 13. Copy the line of code from the IMG field (the last box) 14. Paste the line of code into your post. It WILL include in the front and [/ I M G] in the back. This is how the forum knows to make it a picture, and not a line of text, so do NOT remove that. (there will be no spaces - just IMG)
15. Preview or Post message and you are done!
Feel free to PM me with any questions, or if you would like to make an FAQ for a different image host!

If you'd like to use ImageShack instead (thanks to Joe for providing great initial text to pirate mercilessly): 1. Go to www.imageshack.us. Registration is optional. 2. Click on the 'Browse' button to find the image you want to upload. 3. Find the folder on your computer where your images are stored and click on it. 4. Double click on the image you want to upload. Make sure that the image name does not contain any spaces or punctuation. If you've got a really large image (i.e., over 1 MB in size), you may want to check the box next to 'Resize Image?' and choose the '320 x 240' image size. Otherwise (or if you know what you're doing), don't check the 'Resize Image?' box. 5. The folder location of the image will now display in the box next to the 'Browse' button. 6. Click 'host it!' to begin the upload. 7. When the upload completes successfully, a string of codes will be displayed for you that will permit linking to the image. 8a. If you want to display only a small thumbnail of your image in your post (on which people should click to see the full-sized image), copy the code in the 'Thumbnail for forums (1)' box. In your finished post, the image will look like this: 8b. If you want to display the full-sized image in your post, copy the code in the 'Hotlink for forums (1)' box. In your finished post, the image will look like this: 9. Paste the line of code into your post. It will include in the front and [/ I M G] in the back. This is how the forum knows to make it a picture, and not a line of text, so do not remove that (there will be no spaces - just IMG).
10. Preview or Post message and you are done!
There are a bunch of options for those who want to register (which allows you to have control over your images); if people are really interested in this feature, PM me, and I'll do my best to write up a tutorial about it when I have the time.
