bobapete - hey, I'm always happy to hear that people used my HeroClix stuff as well. Those were fun to make, I learned a lot from working on those, and these attacktix cards are a lot better for it. r4 - Battlefield Conditions affect all players, so turn order is reversed for everyone. The reason launchers can't attack if they are in contact with enemy strikers is to balance the effect of the reversed turn, strikers would be hard pressed to do anything useful otherwise.

Regarding the Mustafar battlefield card: Does this text replace the 2 attacks per turn rule (i.e. attack until you miss) or does it simply require you to be more accurate with your first attack?

I believe it goes along with the standard 2 attack rule. Also, if one were to be using r2-d2 and spun a 4, they would then be free to attack 4 times. However, if they attack twice successfully and then a third unsuccessfully, then their turn would be over before they could attack the fourth time.
Man.... was that confusing? :\

malform has it right, the Mustafar battlefield doesn't care about the number of attacks you have per turn, it just tells you that as soon as you miss (fail to defeat a fig) one, that's it for your turn. On a side note, malform cranked out the corrections super fast, so I'll have the new and improved orders up today.

Welcome aboard tayryu!
I designed the cards, and then malform (another user here) was good enough of a guy to go back and redesign the graphics for them.
Feel free to download them and print them off, that's what they are meant for. If you head back to the first post you'll see some of the rules that they were designed to be played under.

Thanks to a lot of hard work in the lab by malform, the first preview for the second set of Attacktix Cards is ready. Without further ado... Cataclysmic DuelSo, as you can see, Set 2 will add a new card type, the event. Events are played differently than Orders and Battlefields, which start the game in play. Events have no cost to play, but you can only play one per game. However, you can hold up to three event cards in your card pile, and choose the one to play each game that works best in the situation you are in. Events have two parts, the Trigger, which tells you when you can play it, and the Effect, which describes what happens when the card is played. Most Events will affect both players in some way, but not always equally. We'll have at least one more preview before the new set is ready, until then, go play some Attacktix!

On the Cataclysmic duel card, you spelled cataclysmic wrong.

On the Cataclysmic duel card, you spelled cataclysmic wrong. That's what I get for making malform work in the dungeon. It's a prelim version of the card, the final proofing is done after the set is complete. (Which will hopefully be soon.)
