a basket ball court (freshly paved nice and clean) It would be great to play on such a big area. Do you use the entire court? Have you ever lost any missiles in the great outdoors? My attacktix are shy and afraid to go outside.

No kidding. I'm feverish about rounding up my stray missles. I've come close to losing them, but have been lucky so far.
Attacktix wil be an "indoor" toy until Hasbro wises up and sells me some spares!

I think it might be easy to find the missles in the grass. Red and blue don't blend in with anything the green in the projectiles are really bright. THe clear force missles might be hard to find.

My son and I are trying out a new game based on horseshoes that I'm calling "Stay on Target" You'll need two old CD's or DVD's to play this game. Pick two Attacktix figures you want to use and you're ready to set up. First place the two CD's 5 feet apart, like in this pic: Both players start at the same disc and they will both shoot at the other disc that is 5 feet away. Each player will alternate taking one shot with each Attacktix they chose. Set up your shooter like in this pic: After each player has shot both of their missles. You go to the target disc and score just like in horseshoes. 3 points if you get your missle on the disc. 6 points if you get both of your missles on the disc. 4 points if you get one missle on the disc and one missle within 2 inches of the outer edge of the disc. You get 1 point for each missle you have within 2 inches of the target disc. Here are scoring examples: Note*: If you and your opponent have one missle on the disc, they both cancel each other out. Anytime you and your opponent have the same situation, they cancel out. You continue playing until one player reaches 21 points EXACTLY. That player wins. Try it out and send in some rule tweaks that you think need to be addressed. And if you have a better name for it, please post. "Stay on Target" was the best I could do.

DOUBLE DOMINATION
Anyone here ever played any of the Unreal Tournament series? Well, if you do, you know the general rules. But for those that dont, sometimes when me and my friends play we play a game called "Double Domination".
The aim of the game is to capture both points on a battlefield for a certain amount of time for your team. In order to score points, you have to hold all the dom points on a game field without being knocked out.
Let me show you an example:
Lets say we use discs as dom points, and we put these discs on a 4 by 4 ft table, places around the middle. I stand atop both points, and no one knocks me down for 3 turns. I get 3 points. (BTW, a turn is just one turn, so 3 turns is I go, he goes, I go) If your piece gets knocked down, it goes back to the place it started from, and the game goes until one person gets 10 points. Simple? Actually, there's a great level of planning for this. Try it. Tell me what you think.

how about "killing spree". a variation where each player tries to take out as many of the opposing teams figures before they lose one, the person with longest run wins and you play to beat the others record of kills. but you can play with as many players as possible and the ones who have already lost a figure continue to play to stop your spree. and it doesn't have to be the same figure each time you attack.

I'm hesitant to post this one, since it's a lot like a "Capture the Flag"-type game, but I'd try one where there is one armored Vader, one Yoda, one Vader w/ blue lightsaber, and one Obi Wan w/ lightsaber all in the middle packed together, and whoever knocks down the most with a 100-pt team wins. The problem with this is that I hope you have more than one of those figures! Otherwise it would be a sad day.

I always thought a hostage rescue game would be fun. Each team has a launcher figure from the other team. Your objective is to advance onto the opponents territory and recover your character without killing them. -Radar

BLOW THE BUILDING
You start off by both having a building with a door (I used a cardboard box turned upside down). You then get an army of shooters. About 5 is the best. You then have to try and get all your missiles into the building through the door. Once your missile is in you leave it there and that figure is removed from the battle. The first person to get all there missiles in the other persons building wins. You can only move your guys once and they can only move a maximum of 10 tix( depending on your board size you can change the number of tix).

me and my cuzins came up with the ideato play attacktix kinda like risk but different
What you did was take a piece of poster board and draw planets with the names under it( e.g. like Hoth, Naboo.) also draw lines connecting planets or just have a line stop and then go to a planet like so .-planet or .-.-planet
Then you choose your teams you can only build you team of that type ACCEPT the *JEDI, *BOUNTY HUNTERS, AND *REBELS. these groups can go under any side.
THen to start you take turns picking planets each taking turns and place 2 figures( ones you arent using) on the planets you control.
you then take turns moving one fig a turn to another one planet if your figure lands on an enemy planet then you go to a room in the house and play the attacktix game same rules... if theattacker wins then he gets the planet but if the defender wins then he loses that piece.
when you attack a planet you can build a squad of 150 pionts of your class or special classes( see star above for special classes) the defender makes his squad of 200 pionts same rules apply.
YOU MAY MOVE MORE THAN ONE PIECE ON A PLANET TO ATTACK therefore if you had two fleets on hoth then the attacker gets 300 pionts... same rule with defense\ YOU MUST HAVE A PIECE ON A PLANET TO CONTROL IT IF THAT PIECE LEAVES THE PLANET THEN THE PLANET IS UNOWENED
for each planet you play in a different room like naboo may be the dining room and Hoth my be the bedroom.
the game is over when a person has no pieces left or one team conrols all the planets.
I hope you will try and play its much more fun then regular attacktix but longer to

Battlefront meets Attacktix
Me and Attacktixrulz were thinking on playing a game with spawn points, like in Battlefield and Battlefront. Basically, you must have a fairly large playing area (perhaps 4' by 10') and you need to set up spawn points throughout the battlefield. These could be plastic cups, or anything that a figure would need to reach and touch with its base.
So long as a figure's base is touching the spawn point, the player may bring in one of it's backups per turn. This game variation might require you to alter the number of backups allowed, as you would want to have a large # of backups.
This variation encourages players to actually "conquer" the battlefield rather than sitting back and pegging off the enemy at a distance. Once spawn points are controlled, the battle could get very messy and strategy becomes crucial in conquering the entire battlefield.
