MULTIPLE KNOCKDOWN
This is really a simple mod designed to get around having lucky shots take out some of the best figures, and to permit more epic battles - particularly with the lightsaber-wielding folk. I'd like to have more intriguing battles between some of my strikers than the "one knockdown and you're out!" model.
RULES: A figure can be stood up as many times in play as the number of points s/he costs divided by 10. So a Clone Trooper can be stood up 10/10 = 1 times in the entire game, meaning he only gets to stand up at the very beginning of the game. If he gets knocked down, he's out.
Padme, on the other hand, is worth 30 points, so she can stand up 30/10 = 3 times total, including initially bringing her into play. So she can be knocked down twice and recover, but the third time would take her out of the game.
But what about someone who has a Recover power? Let's use Mace Windu as an example. Initially, he can start the game, then recover twice from being knocked down. The third time he's knocked down, however, he magically has a white space to activate his special power! That means he gets another set of two free knockdowns (he has to spend one knockdown to get up from the last one) before he kicks the bucket...unless, of course, he has another Recover kick in...and so on.

OK, I've got 2. The first is more of a neat idea than a complete gameplay variation. The second is kinda spoiler-ish if you have yet to see Episode 3, so I'll put in a spoiler warning. First up....
BATTLEFIELD
In this variation you can play a normal game of attacktix, or any other variation at any point value. What makes this different is that you do not remove your fallen figures from the battlefield.
This is to simulate the carnage of war with bodies strewn about. The fallen figures make mini terrain and any special powers that bring back fallen figures now have a new twist because fallen figures can pop up anywhere.
And now for the second, which may contain SPOILERS...
S P O I L E R
S P A C E
OK, now that that is out of the way. The game is...
ORDER 66
This game requires: 2 six sided dice You and your opponent will make a 200 pt. team with at 'least' 100 pts. of common figures. (To keep it movie acurate you should use clones, but for fun you can use droids or wookies. Even clone commanders, etc. will count - no named figures for the commons.) These are your TROOPS. Your named figures are your COMMANDERS. You set up your teams per normal Attacktix rules. The first round (you move, fire - opponent moves, fires) is played like normal. At the begining of the second round, and at the begining of every following round someone rolls the dice (you can take turns each round). If the rolled dice comes up double six (6 & 6, get it 66!) you and your opponent swich TROOPS but maintain controll of your COMMANDERS. You finish the game using your COMMANDERS and your opponents TROOPS. You play your new TROOPS exactly where your opponent left them, so you may find your self behind enemy lines. Once double six is rolled the dice rolling stops. Since double six may never come up, or could come up right away it will be interesting to see the varied strategies developed to deal with the eventual mutiny.
Remember folks, never trust Clones... they'll stab you in the back every time!

I love...no, LOVE your Order 66 idea! And the double sixes thing is very clever too! I'll have to try it, but honestly, have you played many games where the "66" actually occurs? Most games I play rarely last beyond 4-5 turns each, and the odds of rolling double-sixes are pretty high.

No, I have yet to try that one out. It was just a cool idea that I wanted to get out there before I forgot it. More than likely it needs some tweaking. It's a good thing I have so many game testers at my disposal (you guys!) Perhaps it would work better with 300pts. Just to stretch the gameplay out a bit.

Capture the base Each player gets a base made of soda cans, boxes, etc. They make a central area like a piece of paper. You win when you get one of your guys on your opponents central area. If you lose one of your guys they respawn on your own central point.

OK, i have one but if some one else posted one first sorry. what i do is i get a couple of friends and go to a park where there is a basket ball court (freshly paved nice and clean) we play a game called Battlefront (based on the game star wars battle front) you can move all you want and then just shoot. there are 2 players and 2 Mega players, the mega players use about 20 guys and play normal. there are 2 guys who just move all they want and shot the enemy. if your guy gets knocked over it takes a point away. you have 100 points. the single players share points with there mega player ally. this game can go on for hours, and depending on the climate it will be more or less challenging. we had a group of 10 people who played and each side had 300 points, half way in the game it started raining and it became hard to aim and lots of fun. if you have some spare time, or just want to try this put any size table will do. (works best if there are terrain) i also included vehicles which the character just stands on and those thing have big missiles on them. this is fun but for some can get boring. only warning is LONG time and lots of confusion. but its worth it!

That sounds really fun if I had more figures or if the people around here wouldnt perposly crush the attacktix with a basket ball I might try it. Did the stickers stay on after getting rained on?
