Four way matches are the best! Here's another thing you can try: have a 1 on 1 match, and then give any three figures to two other people. (Three figures EACH!) They won't be considered players, but rather Renegades! They can attack whomever they wish, but they still only get the standard two shots per turn. If you knock them over, they can stand right back up. Their turn comes at the end of you and your opponent's turn. Trust me, it reeeeaaaalllyyy tests your skills. If anyone's willing to take it up another notch, I suggest you try that.
I play that with my friends but we play with stacked Xbox game cases in the middle of the field cutting it in half, and set the "Regenades" on top. In order to attack your opponent or cross to their side, you have to risk being attacked. But your opponent can get attacked too! When shooting the game cases, the figures that fall attack the side they fell on (they don't have to fall on their bases). When the regenerators die, they go back on top of a game case of the middle player's choice (for instance, they could put multiple figs on the same game case to add a risk). Only one of the middle player's figures may attack for each side of the field they have figures on (and obviously, attacks must be distributed fairly) BUT two may attack a side if the player of that side does not attack (only have to attack not destroy) at least one of the regenerating figures. The middle player has a turn after each other player's turn. (Player A, Middle, Player B, Middle, Player A, Middle...) I like to play with a Droid Army team of 2 guards, a Grievous, a SBD, and a BD.
