You know, I've been on this site for a while now, and it's just hit me: this is free. It's a positive, homey, safe-feeling environment, and it's all free. I've made a few friends here in my short stay, and I really enjoy the discussions I have here. So, I think we all owe a big round of applause to Joe, for starting and running this wonderful site, along with his fantastic crew of moderators. His lovely (though unseen) wife, Phoenix, sfx5000, good ol' YodaBreaker, JayDouble, and Malform. All great people, with one helluva great site. Here's to you, guys!
(P.S. Forgive me if I've forgotten anyone, or made any erros in my post. I just wanted to show my appreciation for these folks.)

Yeah, he's like, my idol. He's happily married to a (as I can imagine) gorgeous wife, and he still plays with action figures! That is the ultimate life. He's got a crazy-cool job, and a unique character about him. He's a god. LMAO. 'Kay, so that was a bit much. Anyways, here's to you, Joe. And, of course, the other Mods. You guys own! ;D

Well, they sure make a cute bride and groom. And I can safely say I'd have never rediscovered my inner toy geek without this board, nor would I have ever developed into much of a striker. Yes, I used to think strikers were pointless, useless, and annoying. *hanging head in shame* Hehehe...and I'm neither good nor ol' Though I'm most likely much older than I am good. Anyway, back to the second job talk...gotta love having to summarize my dissertation thus far in two days!

Wow, I'd never seen those pictures! Phoenix is drop-dead gorgeous! Joe, I dunno about you... Haha...playing, playing. You guys sure are lucky to have each other though, seriously. It's really hard for two geeks to meet and find true love like that. Hopefully, I shall find my significant other Star Wars nerd... [EDIT: I hereby declare February 13th, Mr. Manzo Appreciation Day. If I'm allowed to do that. ;D]

No, no, I didn't mean they look like geeks. I just meant their hobbies are kind of geeky. 'Twas all I meant. Hopefully nobody took that the wrong way...

I certainly didn't ;D Nevertheless, a geek need not have a geek wife to have a good marriage. To wit, I've been married for over 5 years to a confirmed non-geek who nonetheless supports my geekiness. Of course, then again, she's now waaaaaay more into Stargate SG-1 than I'll ever be (though I was the one who insisted she buy the 8 seasons worth of DVDs because she'd been wanting them so badly but didn't want to spend that kind of money on herself), so maybe there's hope yet...

Thank you, awesomejedi. +1 MC for you, as well. So, where's Joe, anyways? No commentary from him as of yet. That's surprising.

Thanks to everyone. I didn't think it would be appropriate to post in my own appreciation thread, but I guess I deserve it... How the hell did this thing turn into the MRS. MANZO appreciation thread! I love my wife, and she is beautiful, thanks! You made her night, just moments before Valentine's Day (which is our 5th year anniversary of oyr first meeting) But I agree, all of our mods should be appreciated, they have done just as much, if not more in the past months. And I'll also take a moment to welcome malform, who is our newest mod, specifically for the Transformers board now that it is a reality. But all mods (thus far) can mod all boards. Anyway, thanks again, this is weird, and I sat home when my wife went to see Brokeback Mountain.

My bad...I posted the link to your wedding pic thread. Crap...must fill out...Valentine's Day card... Hmm...I don't think any of us have been maintaining an Attacktix blog, programming personality quizzes, organizing tournaments, and creating contests and providing prizes for them. Thus, I still say you take the prize for "most work on the boards." Woo malform! It's been a long time in coming, buddy, but I'm glad to see someone else's name in red And woo to gay cowboys eating pudding (or so Brokeback Mountain would go, were it part of the South Park Film Festival).

Well, I'm glad everybody appreciates the thread. I realize I should've changed the thread name, because the other Mods work just as hard, but I wanted to show a little love to our founder. (If anyone knows how to change the thread name, tell me, please?) Much love to you, guys. (Oh, and Joe, tell your beautiful wife to post when she gets the chance, eh? We'd like to hear from her!) Anyways, Happy Valentine's Day, everyone. And Happy Anniversary to you and your wife, Joe. Hope you guys have an awesome day! ;D
