Experimental Speeder Bike Pull back, and a slight push forward knocks down figs quite nicely. Problem is, just sit it on top of a Tix base (pegs to hold in place) and balance it so a hit from the front tips it over? Still thinking about that. And yes, bending the Biker Scout's legs will let him fit too!

That is absolutely lovely. I was considering a similar unit some time ago using the FisherPrice speeder bike. What is this speeder bike from, and how did you get the motorized base? That's awesome, amigo. Top shelf!

From top to bottom: AT-RT Mega Clone Trooper, Galactic Heroes Speeder Bike, Quizno's Kidz Meal Rocket pull back Toy spray painted with black plasticote. Other figures can be made to fit, obviously Biker Scout. Maybe even Wicket & Luke, although I haven't tried them yet. I think Endor Luke would be a chore and too heavy.
Putting it on top of a small Tix base and balancing it just right so a decent missile/force blast or saber strike tips it over may be the way to go, but hits from behind won't take it down at all. Also thinking about "hit the flag" I saw somewhere although that's not quite in the "spirit" of Attacktix.

Depending on how reliable the "pull-back attack" is, you might just want to attach it to a GR/Spider-Man/AT-RT sized Mega base. Realistically, you could still keep the point cost around 40-50, whether or not you use the normal two targets. The lack of ranged attacks and what I'd guess is a fairly low potential for multiple KOs would balance things, IMO.

Oh, this is too great! I love it! I have always wanted an Attacktix that would pull back and go. If your opponent has a group of figures he can plow through like a bowling ball.
Top notch!

Wow, maybe the Mega base route is the way to go. I was somewhat trying to stay away from that cause I'm kinda running out of Mega bases and I'm intrigued with keeping this as low profile and as small a footprint as possible.
You can definetly get multiple take downs "bowl over" style, sort of like the Joe cycles, however you need to give it a guiding push as you release, lightening things up would help. A variation of game play might be if it goes out of the playing area or falls off the table, its also defeated along with any figures it took out.
This is something Hasbro could definetly incorprate into a Mega!

Asajj Ventress early stages of construction Something a little different and definetly a step up in customizing effort, Asajj requires eveything that makes any Tix customizer worth their salt - sculpting, sanding, kitbashing, striker mech installation, limb repositioning, repainting, etc. Now that Soccer is over, I have just a little more time and I ain't gonna rush her. Promise she won't look any more burly than Slave Leia!

Dude, if you make her to look good, I promise you I will hound you everyday looking to purchase or trade. My daughter loves her. She calls her "mommy robot".

Yowza - if I count correctly, that's Tion Medon's head, Count Dooku's torso (with another Dooku lightsaber), Mystique's bust, and a black-painted S2 Princess Leia bottom half. That, sir, will be an insane custom.
As for the speeder bike, I think that the pull-back action is worth not having a Mega base. I also think it points the way for how the 'bro could incorporate a pull-back attack mechanism in the future. Just think - the Tix wheel on top might refer to how many Tix you'd be allowed to pull it back. With that sort of "charge" attack, the special power window on the bottom would continuously change, so there'd be little to worry in terms of Tix mapping. Nice. Very, very nice.

I would argue that a Tix base would be fine - just no internals, so to speak. If you took a flat base, such as Omega Supreme, and cut a circular aperture on the top of the base so that the black plastic existing base sits inside of it, then cut a slot for the wheel on the bottom of the base, and recessed (mortissed) it, you could potentially keep the Tix action yet also keep the 'tix-i-ness' of the figure with a base and motion wheel. Maybe not, though - maybe it's just better to take the tix mechanism out altogether and just use the base alone... Hey Attacktixman, any chance you can put a video together with sound? I am wondering if the wind-up mech in the base of the speeder has a 'click' that some of these things do. If not, I'd bet you could take a tix-clicker and glue it to the inside of the existing base so that one revolution of the existing motion-wheel would generate a click so that you could make some play-rules, like "4 tix motion backwards" so that this figure has some guidelines to play with. AWESOME work. I really also like the Ventress kitbash - one thing to note is that when doing final assembly (I found this out the HARD way) it's a good idea to put some waxpaper (make a 1" ring and cut a hole in the middle for the waist joint to fit thru) in between the waist joint so that the glue doesn't bind the mechanism any. The last time I made a custom striker (Kyle Katarn) I had to also put a piece of black electrical tape over the mechanism internally to be sure that the glue (I used 5-min epoxy) that keeps the body halves together didn't bollocks up the spring mechanism and render him 'statuesque'! Keep up the good work!

Doctor Doom custom Made from Marvel Figure Factory Doom, Grand Moff Tarkin tix base, Jango Fett blaster, Tix Tool labels. Jango Fett "Flame Thrower" Striker Made from Jango Fett with Ki-Adi Mundi Gold striker mechanism. Strikes hard, strikes well. I put off some other custom projects and made these for Greyelephant since he was so crazy generous in a trade!
