I'll start with my first actual custom, a simple parts swap and minor repaint to match, a little TF I call Steamhook. The head, torso and base are from TF series one Landmine and the arms and legs from TF series one Scorponok. Since both figures used a shade of orange, I only had to do minor repaint to get some look of sameness. 30 points stays the same since he has the same attack as Scorpy, but the class is changed to Specialist and the special is now Shootback (up to three Specialists).

In a way the one that started it all, a simple Endor Scout repaint into one of my favorite outfits. No real changes from the Endor Scout, I had no problem with the Shootback (Trooper). Actually, this custom usually finds himself leading my Endor Scouts and Rebel Troopers into battle...

This was actually inspired by one of dvandom's repaints, a TF(1)01 Minicon into Ramjet from the Energon Saber repaints. He commented on his site about carving a Minicon down into Sonar, the minicon that used the original mold as Ramjet, which is basically what I did, only I used the 'Dark Saber' color scheme instead of the 'Star Saber' one. Much like with the Endor Scout, beyond the color scheme, there's really nothing special about him, everything was left as it was.

A shooter arm on a striker torso, yeah, there's a lot of them. Striker/Prodders? Not so much. More than anything else, this 'Tusken Champion' as I've dubbed him was a way to use up some spare Tusken parts (not exactly my favorite faction) and the striker Luke body left over from some of my other projects. I didn't even really bother to paint him, partly because the arms and torso were both shades of tan, partly because he was basically an experiment. When I get a chance, the points will remain thirty, but I'm planning on changing it to "Tusken Champion" with Tusken as the faction, and changing the special to Rescue (Tusken).

Occasionally, I'll just start putting parts together to see what I get and what I like. This figure actually resulted from sticking Scorponok's 'tail' on Ransack's torso and evolved from there. I've actually worked out a possible way the character could transform into an armored hovercraft with the wheel forming a turbojet fan. I've also since decided that this is one of my Transformers characters, Sinker, who is a hovercraft but never had any specific design. The Attackback target might change, and the name and faction probably will, but since Attacktix wise he's little more than cannon fodder, the points won't. I forgot to take a picture with him carrying it, but he has a Stormtrooper's gun.

Elektra was a good figure, but the arms kinda looked kooky, so when I was putting together some parts, I put the arms from an Endor Luke on an Elektra and liked the look. Simple blue repaint with black gloves and boots, and paint the lightsaber into a tan bokken (wooden Kendo sword) and I realized I had the perfect figure for the X-Men: Evolution version of one of my Marvel characters, Infiniti. Name and faction will change, of course, I'll probably keep Elektra's 20 points, but since Infiniti is a pre-cog, I think I'll end up changing her special to Evade (SWORD) to simulate her warning teammates of incoming attacks.

The custom Attacktix for my "Turbo" character took the longest time to get everything I wanted - Pyro arms, Stormtrooper torso, and Gambit head above all, with striker Vader base to simulate his accelerated metabolism. Ironically, no matter how many times I tried, I'm still not satisfied with the X-Men symbols on his chestplate and belt... When you take into account the speed, the white %, the missiles (seen here with a modified small missile, but it also has a modded medium missile it can use), and the Effect that I intend on adding that prevents him from being defeated while a certain other figure is in play, the 40 point cost might almost be too cheap, but any higher and he probably wouldn't be worth using at all...

Hey, show the clone some love! And I'm not talking about any of the Prequel Trilogy clones, either. Hasbro put out Spidey and Armored Spidey, several of us have done Symbiote Spidey, and Iron Spidey has been tossed out there as an idea once or twice... What about Scarlet Spider, people? Doesn't he deserve his own figure? Originally, I wanted to do this with a Pole Kick Spidey, but web bash Spidey works too. Was kinda worried about the spider symbol at first, but it turned out better than I had hoped. Probably will change special to Evade (Spider-Man).

Blame it on this board and all the discussions of flying body parts. Seriously? It's meant to simulate a high-speed punch since Turbo is (as his name implies) a speedster. I actually use the medium missile more in battles, though since it packs a bit more umph, plus it has less chance of bouncing off the target.

The prodder Wolverine is a pity since it combined a good Special and Effect with a weak attack. Well, a few weeks ago, one of the local Wal-Marts had a sale on starters and IGS sets, so I picked up a number of SW4 starters, a few GR, M1 and TF1 starters, and three Intergalactic Showdowns. Since I now had a spare striker Wolverine, I took the base and effect from a Prodder and switch them with the base from a striker, (well, and one of the arms to balance out the size of the shoulder piece) producing this result:
