in order to make an electro to shoot force you would have to cut that ring inside his hands off then he would fire force this works with everyone As Han will show you, I just attached the Force Blast head to the Small Missile tail. The ring inside the figure does not determine which missile fit... it is actually the length of the shaft, and the length of the gap.

Awesome customs, Joe. Very, very original use of the Jedi Knight in making Black Widow, especially with the hair. The only thing I'd like to know is if you used the JK for the actual figure to customize and, if you did, how you made the *ahem* chest area?
I'm not liking Iceman quite as much, though. The paint job and missile are both really nice but something just seems "off" about him. Perhaps the silly look on his face or the pose?
On a whole different note, I'll be entering one "joke" custom and one serious custom into Tixcon. Doubt either will win but I hope to get at least a laugh from the joke and at least a second glance for the real one.

Based on the facial and other *ahem* anatomical features *ahem* I'd say it was Mystique what was sacrificed I thought he was nice as a comicustom, myself. The insane grin was quite nice.

Doh! I was confused by the Jedi Knight base and thought it was a striker/shooter custom which combined with the fact that Joe is "banned from sharp objects", I assumed that he placed a gun in JKs hand and molded the rest with clay or something of the like. Comparing Widow to Mystique, however, proves your point completely. I rescind my comment on using the JK's hood as hair. ;D
I think that's what throws me off so much. I'm not a big fan of the "squat" pose either so that probably doesn't help much. I've always imagined that the Iceman figure would be him standing in an ice wave like in the comics. In fact, Gambit's base would probably look perfect for that if painted white...

Hey, no worries, you don't have to like everyone. But it is funny what you say about the squat. I am a HUGE Iceman fan, and I had an airbrushed sweatshirt as a kid, based off a Kubert painting. He was in an awesome squat mode... and most of my drawings as a kid he was in squat mode, because I distinctly remember his hands, knees and nipples all at the same level... shooting his ice slide ahead. I wish I could find the card... but I think the pose is pretty good, considering what there is to work with. Now that face, that is modeling after me And Iceman is usually a smart-alec, so I don't think it's bad overall. Here is a Boris Vallejo squat Here is an unknown artist standing I think it all depends on the era and the artist.

See, a squat like the one in the Boris Vallejo card is better because he is also leaned over. With Electro's pose, it looks like he's sitting on an invisible chair. With the card's pose he's in more of a crouch than a squat, which I actually like.
Again, I'm not entirely sure what it is about the Iceman that throws me off but it just doesn't seem right for some reason. Perhaps because it looks like snow more than ice? I'm sort of grasping at straws because I can't seem to spot exactly what it is that I don't like about it. Kinda like my dislike of Nicholas Cage. There's a reason, I just can't put my finger on it.

When I came home from my night classes today I looked at that Iceman and said "It sort of looks like you, Joe!" Joe has the same shaped head and the shaved head....which definitely is strange.

Whenever Phoenix take pictures tomorrow, you will all see my Indiana Jones custom. Sadly, he is minus the fedora... the Western Ghost Rider's hat just won't do it.

Very nice paint job there Joe... You so need to find him a hat. GRR, I know. I will spend more time modding the W.GR hat... but again, sharp objects are against the rules
