Hee...very nice! You seem to have done a great job slowly molding yourself from Obi-Wan's features, and the ladies are certainly coming along wonderfully. I wonder if there'll be a special "Lasso"-like effect seen in Hasbro's Attacktix sets - it seems like a *really* useful one with respect to powerful figures.

The shield was from a thrift store found around these parts called Deseret Industries (it made a cameo in Napoleon Dynamite, ). I also picked up a Slave I I'm using to make a variation of what Superfly did there too. The shield originally had the Barbie logo raised on it, but Brita masterfully removed it with some careful sanding. We have the labels and effects on now so it is down to the detailing.

Very nice work! Is that TIE fighter from the Action Fleet series that SuperflyTNT had been talking about?

Yes it is, I'd actually had this one for about a year and had always envisioned making it into an attacktix, but never got around to it. After receiving a lot from eBay with a couple broken clones and the gunship base I now had what I needed and went to work. It was mounted on a steel rod (from a dollar store item that my wife needed anyway (meat thermometer) with holes drilled on either side, glued on the base side. The string was messed up on the base, so I added a new one from some blinds cord. The guns are the clone troopers attached on the bottom. of the ship in some holes.

Wow! That Tie Fighter is amazing! The Wonder Women are awesome, too, especially the one with the Lasso. Well done, Ionic!

Excellent work on all counts! I just caught up with this thread from page one this morning - I love customs, and you've done some very detailed very nice looking ones! I've thought for a while that the Action Fleet series was just a small step away from being useable as Attacktix Megas (the TIE bomber even has a shooting missile already), and it's awesome to see that TIE fighter transformed like that. We've been using the Rancor from the series as a "one hit kill" if it gets within arms length of any figure (it doesn't have any "targets", but a carefully placed shot will take it down with one hit). Keep the custom pics coming...I'm loving them!

Alrighty, just about done with another ship and I'll put up photos of it when done, but two others in process are a Shadow Battle Droid and Elvis Trooper: Still trying to figure out something for the hat to finish off the one of me . Will hopefully find the glasses I need for the Elvis trooper at the same time.

The Elvis trooper would have been more realistic if you would have put a fried peanut butter and banana sandwich in his other hand. ;D
