I brought my spider-man comics to camp one day and while I was reading one I noticed an ad for all the amazing spider-man comics through june 2006, Over 570 comics (annuals included) ! It was advertised as only $39.99 which considering the price of $4.99 for a spider-man comic these days is amazing. The catch was they were all on cd, so it wouldn't be as cool as having the hard copy, but they can be legally printed out for on the go viewing and the price is still incredibly low for all the hours of entertainment. Long story short I was able to snatch one off ebay used for only $23.99 (after shipping applied) and can't wait to recieve the product.
The company that owns the business runs from the weppage digitalcomics.biz. It just revamped the sites graphics and the shop has a giant selection, From ultimate x-men to captain america, and even mad magazine it seems to have it all. Overall it sounds more like something a reader than a collector would want, no individual collector value, no alternate covers, just the comics with all bulletins, newsletters, and ads in tact. It really does sound like the future and I just though you should all know.

Yeah there is an x-men one as well, and maybe some others (can't remember for sure). Unfortunately I've heard that the scans aren't the best quality, but if you're just interested in the stories it is a great deal to be sure.

i dont think it would be that bad, i've downloaded translated manga from time to time, yes different, not as great as hard copy. But still worth it.
