I'm will grievous It was WAY to campy. The hole time I'm setting wasting my life watching this movie I'm thinking "This Guy is possessed buy a demon of some sort and is going to be forced to harvest souls for all time. Why doesn't he seem to give a crap." I think a little dark and tortured would have gone along way. Less wise cracks and the bad guys... NOT scary and GR took them out in like 2 seconds. I'm going to step on the Attacktix figures of "the Hidden" that I have. SAd. Sad I say. The girl was WAY hot I'll give the movie that and Ghost rider looked really great. but thats it.

Yeah. It was a 6 or 7. My biggest gripe was Cage trying to be Elvis revisited, and the fact that 2 of 3 of his enemies died because THEY LOST A STARING CONTEST. Gay.

We rented and watched it last night, and SURPRISE! I actually liked it! Like all of the other recent Marvel movies that got, at best, shaky reviews, I enjoyed it and would probably watch it again. What can I say, I'm easy to please! ;D There were some strange corny parts, but I thought it had a great western feel and I liked the look of all the characters. Penance Stare was very well done, as well as his motorcycle. And I loved Nicholas Cage's adaptation of the character. I thought it was breathe of fresh air, compared to the over-done depressed/alcoholic personality that similar comic book characters are given. Even though the guy that played Blackheart wasn't as creepy as he was in other movies... ...I still thought he was good. I do agree that the Hidden didn't last very long. Perhaps they would have posed more of a threat if Blackheart, the son of Mephistopheles, had unleashed his ultimate weapon? ;D

Big surprise, DoNP and I don't agree. I like the the effects and the bikes and that Peter Fonda, Low Rider was the devil, but as a Marvel comic movie it lacked action. There was no struggle to fight the demons or with the devil. It was too hurried, I got more from the extras on the DVD. I did like that is was not in a big city, he had been living with guilt, and that the girl didn't fall all over him. Other than that I was disappointed. I guess I just couldn't get Lord of War out of my head and wanted to see some carnage. And since we just watched Hulk I wondered what Gen. Ross was doing in a grave yard?

The problem with Ghost Rider is plain and simple - Nicholas Cage. He always plays the same type of character - intense with tons of corny stare-downs. He's always on the edge of a nervous breakdown or something. The man can't act. Overall, the movie wasn't bad - would've been much better without Nick.
