Should I?

I know that marvel did some kind of thing where they introduced deaths head in some other comics before adding him to transformer story lines, so that hasbro couldnt claim ownership or something... I also remember deaths head II pretty well.... But I dont ever recall, ever seeing a deaths head toy.

I don't know about Malform, but I didn't know you are in the UK. Don't feel too bad, anymore there's no cheap and easy way to get G1 figures! Go to toy shows, go to hobby shops, go to flea markets, and, of course, eBay. eBay is usually most expensive, followed by toy shows, but both have great selections. Hobby shops will sometimes have a gem or 2 at a good price. Flea markets are hit and miss. You'll find broken, incomplete stuff, but there have been many times that I've picked up some good stuff for dirt cheap, just because the person had no clue about the item they were selling. If you're into getting complete figures, a parts guide/identifier helps. There are a few printed kinds, but here's a good online one: www.transformerland.com/identify-transformers.htmlYou can identify unknown stuff you already have, or click on the figure lists on the right panel to check which pieces a certain figure originally came with. Good luck and happy hunting!

In my experience, it seems sellers at the comic cons mark up the prices moreso than anyone else. Comic book stores are pretty bad for prices, but that depends on the store. (Mine wants $80 for an out of package hands and missiles missing sticker peeling Dirge.) I wish they'd go ahead and reissue every G1 figure and save me the grief of hunting. I want Decepticon Headmasters, dangit!

The biggest thing on my wish list is a reissued set of complete cassettes. Both autobot and decepticons.
